Are more than 2 shows necessary on this tour?

I am not saying the shows weren't awesome, they always are and I always have an amazing time. I also recognize that very few other bands play such long sets and vary it so much.
Maybe these numbers say it better-Philly 1 and Philly 2 had 64 total songs with 11 repeats for a total of 53 unique songs. This is really good. But when I throw Pittsburgh into that mix I only have 8 more new songs out of the 31 played. My numbers may not be correct but I don't think they are that far off. Anyway, the exact numbers don't matter. You all are right, no other band is anywhere near this good.
Nah, you have nothing to feel bad about. While I don't personally share your opinion, theses boards exist for that very reason.... For folks to have spirited discussion and express their opinion. It's all good IMO.0 -

Will you still be glad you only saw those 3-4 shows 15 years ago?
Or
Will you be upset that you can never experience a live show by the greatest Rock and Roll band ever again?
Perhaps some introspective thought is in order for all who have grown weary of these types of shows?
Maybe it is just me... But the lamest crowd at the greatest of greatest hits shows is better then trying to remember what they use to sound like.
Enjoy it while you can, nothing lasts forever.
As for remember what they sound like.... bootlegs.
It will definitely be a very sad day when they decide to call it quits though! :(With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata0 -
I've been listening to Pittsburgh show through a bad-quality audience-recorded bootleg and I'm wondering how this can be the kind of thing one would want to avoid from. Oh, Yellow Moon and then Footsteps...
There are ways to cope with getting burnt from the music. I've got my own ways. You've got to keep yourself hungry. Stay hungry!!! You've got to mix it. Say, even if you're having the best-cooked filet mignon, if it is your every-day meal, it will suck after some time. You should do whatever necessary to avoid this.
The boys will never play your dream setlist. For each setlist, there will be songs that you could exchange with some more favorite of yours. In every setlist, there will be some songs that you'll say "Did they play this again? Really?" But, in the grand scheme of things, a song on repeat here and there won't change the big picture. It is all over there if you want to see. And here it is.
My opinion is that the boys intend to do a tour for the ages. One that will be remembered by every fan. What's your part, who you are?
