What I find rediculous, is that people are like,..."A few pops and ticks which is to be expected." Um.....no it's not.
Yeah! I need a full refund and a replacement for my 1 pop and 2 clicks! That's .13 seconds of inferior playing I just had to sit through, what is this shit?!
that's not ridiculous at all....
I wouldn't mind if you quoted my whole post.
The essence of it was that folks with inferior produced albums are feeling lucky for theirs not being in "as bad shape" as others, when in fact they should expect a brand new, clean, great sounding copy.

No vinyl in Portland, OR yet. UPS tracking says it is projected to arrive yesterday. Tracking has it shipping from Auburn, past Portland, to LA and Phoenix... :?:
Same here. Mail Innovations is a complete joke.
I'm starting to feel pretty badly about the carbon footprint this thing is leaving.
some of us actually listen to the vinyl, not just put it on a shelf.. but that does not matter anyway.. regardless of how small the problem seems to you, it is a faulty product, and the people who purchased it deserve a perfectly playing copy... i could never see myself buying a winter jacket with a hole in it..
A skip or a warp is one thing...but a pop or click is the norm. I could see myself buying a winter jacket with a frayed string.
I do see where you're coming from. And a pop or a tick is not going to make anyone send an album back for a refund. But the issues reported are far more widespread and much more serious than that.
On a side note, I'm more apt to pass a couple pops or clicks on a $12 or $15 vinyl. But seriously, at $30-$35...people pay for superior masterings and audiophile pressings.

Update...it's back to Federal Way, WA. The journey of my vinyl...Auburn, WA->LA->Phoenix->Federal Way, WA thus far. Boomerang!
My package has been stuck in Auburn, WA since Tuesday, 10/15/2013. I should have received it on Monday the 21st. I live in Havertown, PA. This is really ridiculous.

Mine has been stuck in Auburn since Oct. 10th...
Maybe they are sending them back automatically....???
I love 10c but this is insane !!!
I could have bought my vinyl already at the Pop Up Shop, the Brooklyn Shows, or my local store....
Heads should roll !!!

Mine is good for the most part, but a few bad pops and distortion on Pendulum from where the glue was attached to the Vinyl. I also have to play it at a much higher volume than most vinyl
Still have not received my LB vinyl in Toronto, any one else in Canada received theirs yet??
and us Canadians do not get tracking so I have no idea where it is...
I'm pretty sure no one has. Scouring the boards, I think I'm the only one who got the CD so far (yesterday) and they shipped the vinyl about a week after shipping the CDs. I'm not expecting any to show up in Canada until at least next Monday and probably most won't get it until later in the week. Overall, it seems like an improvement for us as it's now around the normal 2 weeks I see for other items and not the 4-6 weeks we usually saw through Ten Club shipping (DHL)

280 mile trip across the state and it ended up in bloody Arizona, unbelievable. No wonder shipping cost so much.
Keep the faith if you haven't received it yet everyone. It took from Oct 14-Oct 23 to get 280 miles, so just keep holding strong if you're on the east coast. I'm sure you'll all have it by New Year's.
Well, Third Man Records shipped out their Vault Packages on 10/21. It is currently at my door. Shipped via USPS from TN to MA. 2 days. I have yet to receive my Lightning Bolt vinyl from 10 Club....
Still haven't received mine in San Francisco. Of course, that might be because it went to the wrong post office:
MADERA, CA, United States 10/21/2013 9:23 A.M. Package routed to wrong local post office. Package will be transferred to correct post office for delivery.
I live in the suburbs of Chicago and FINALLY received my Lightning Bolt vinyl today...............just to hear it skip on Getaway and POP throughout the next few tracks. Got to the title track and it just kept skipping and skipping and skipping. If they're going to blame it on the packaging then my copy should have played flawlessly - packaging has hardly any damage - but the wax itself is pathetic - unplayable. Maybe I'll get my replacement by Christmas, right? Disappointed...
