how do you track it. i never got a link. I did get an email on Oct 11th confirming that it was shipped, and living a whole 60 miles away from the warehouse, I would like to know when i should expect it.
Take your order number add a 1 at the end and search it on Mail Innovations website.

So here's a rundown, with pictures, of the shape it was in:
Unopened package as I received it. A little wear and tear as can be expected, but nothing too bad.
Inner packaging - so far, so good...
AT LAST! Here it is. Cover art is what we've all already seen as expected, but upon closer inspection...
The coloring is a bit odd. As some others have described it, looks like it was colored with markers - doesn't have the solid coloring like the CD's I've seen in the stores or the precision of computer generated graphics. An obvious design choice, I guess, but don't really care for it myself.
Front Cover. Plastic was sealed all the way around; no signs of any damage.
Back Cover. I do like this a lot.
Close-up of corner. I've heard reports of some damaged corners, but mine are all OK. I would imagine if your outside packaging looks beat up, then obviously a problem with the courier. If the outer packaging is fine, but the inside banged up, problem lies with warehouse handling.
Inside the gatefold.
Sleeve - no tears or broken seams on mine.
Packaging was all great - unfortunately moving on to the actual vinyl, it starts to get ugly. First glance reveals lots of dust and debris all over this thing
More fibers, paper, and some funky looking streaks scattered about.
VERY ROUGH EDGES. May not affect playability per se, but running your finger around the edge, you can definitely feel a lot of protrusions and imperfections.
Getting worse...spotted about 4 or 5 of these small indentations, mostly on Side A near the edge. Looks almost like some kind of sharp object like a tack or nail hit it.
The sticker sheet...meh. I guess they're cool, but don't really do anything for me. Now if they were Garbage Pail Kids, I'd run out a buy a Trapper Keeper tonight!

I didn't get any kind of postcard in mine I've heard some people have received, but I did get this!
Since this came with a download code, I'm guessing there is no difference in this and retail store versions - kind of crummy seeing as how the only REAL incentive was to have it on release day, and maybe some nicer 10C packaging. The "10C Exclusive" content was a joke, and the shipping cost vs. arrival date an even bigger one. Anyhow, there ya have it folks. Unfortunately, I don't have a turntable at the moment, but even if I did, from the overall visual inspection of this thing, along with the horror stories I've heard so far in terms of sonic quality, I probably wouldn't waste time dropping a needle on it anyway.
I've repacked mine and slid it back into the plastic for now, anticipating SOME sort of acknowledgement and resolution from 10C within the coming days on this fiasco. If we don't hear something soon, my next course of action will most likely be to ship it back and demand a purchase price + return shipping refund. Not sure if I would buy it again at this point if the local record store is going to be stocking the exact same thing. If they re-produce a higher quality product, then maybe. The sad thing is, since I've downloaded it, I am REALLY digging this album. I'll probably go out and buy the CD this week, even though I've already got the download. I really just want to have a positive experience opening up a new Pearl Jam album. That's all for now...PEACE.

Wow- great photo tour of the album, drummerboy_73. Thanks. I agree, the vinyl should not look like yours does. No way. When I got down your row of pictures to the vinyl photos I was just shaking my head. No way.
“The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man [or woman] who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”
Drummerboy_73, thanks for the pics! It's what I've been waiting for, nice to see the vinyl and some of the issues that seem to be occurring in this first batch.
What a disappointing let down between the absolutely atrocious shipping and the even worse condition of these things.
This is a band that LOVES vinyl but they've basically given up on releasing singles and haven't even acknowledged this fiasco with the heavily promoted album. There was even a video of the vinyl being pressed! I have been on board 1000% this year with everything (and this doesn't change that) but this sucks.
At least say we know, we are sorry, the manufacturer sucks and we are trying to figure it out.

Thanks! I tried to start with the most positive aspects first. It ended up being like a Fig Newton though - tasty cookie on the outside - nasty filling!
I would have included more pictures of the booklet, but the size of pictures we're limited to posting would have made the print too small to make out.

Mine came sometime in the middle of the night. I got home around 6:00 and it wasn't here, and then when I left for work this morning, there it was. I really don't like Mail Innovations.
I love the artwork though, and I disagree with drummerboy - I love how the red looks like it was colored with marker. Gives it more character.
Mine came with the Infallible postcard. I haven't looked yet, but I'm guessing there is a thread over at Lost Dogs where someone is trying to collect all of them.

no vinyl today in Brooklyn,NY , tracking said it was supposed to be delivered today :(
I did not get mine either when it was scheduled to be delivered yesterday in NJ. My local record store is charging $35 for it so I bought another copy at the show last night for $30.

I received mine yesterday in Atlanta, GA. After listening to it once all the way through, I thought it sounded muffled. Lots of pops, but no skips. The album packaging is awesome. I remember when I heard that they were calling this one "Lightning Bolt", I thought it was all going to be lame. WRONG. These guys know what they are doing. They are without a doubt the coolest mother f-ers of all time.
What I find rediculous, is that people are like, "Oh, mine only had five or six pops and skips, and a few tears in the cover...I must be one of the lucky ones." Or..."A few pops and ticks which is to be expected." Um.....no it's not.

There was some sort of glue type substance stuck on the vinyl in 2 spots. Other than that, it was a bit dirty. Cleaned it off and carefully removed the glue specks. Will give it a spin later, but my hopes arent very elevated
my tracking through ups has not updated since 10/15..
my tracking on USPS does not work at all... i emailed 10c with no luck.
to be honest.. i know that EVENTUALLY i will get a working copy, but at this point, im not exactly looking forward to it landing on my door step.. Vinyl should sound amazing and clean, pops, hum, straches, quiet.. not really even looking forward to spinning it until there is a resolution.
i think best bet for the 10C is to just send out reprints of the Record in a simple, sturdy cardboard sleeve, and let everyone keep the packaging they have, which seems to be in good shape from what im reading.
Hail, hail the lucky ones who have even received their copy yet. Mine has (apparently) been sitting in Auburn, WA since the 15th. UPS claims a delivery date of 10/21, so at least finally I will get it in DC... yesterday? Jeez...

Jacket is perfect. Vinyl sleeve is split thru on both sides.
Visually, vinyl was filthy. Smudges, hand prints, pinhead indentation on last track side A. Will listen soon an update
