I am ten minutes down the road from Auburn Wa. My record has been in the mail for over a week. Can we get a "Pick Up" option on shipping. I would love to drive ten minutes for my stuff!
I just kinda want to throw this out there... In the last few years the USPS has closed a ton of hubs. My town was once a hub and it is no longer. THis simply means that if I were to send a letter across town it has to 60 miles and back before it can get to were it's going. So, my Vault #3 has circled me the last few days. Yes, this is annoying, but it is one of those sleeper government issues you don't see until after they do it. What this really means is people have lost their jobs AND mail takes longer. Don't worry go back to sleep it will be all fine.
The issue is that LB was advertised as showing up on Oct. 15. Thats why i bought it from here and not anywhere else. Amazon is the only other place ive seen guaranteeing release day delivery. I hope 10club can ship a different speed for this.
I'm not angry or pissed, it's all good. I'm having my little fun with the trip that my lps are on I know there is worse problems than not receiving a record in time ...
And yeah, I also ordered LB here because I thought it might show up before or at the date of the release. A little communication on why tenclub chose this new shipping system and what the benefits of it are would have been interesting and a nice gesture

I don't see that there is any other option for USPS though. They are bringing in WAY less money because people don't mail or ship things with USPS anywhere near as much as they used to because there are more options and more competition. So with bless money and less customers, the only choice they had was to close hubs and reduce staff. Just the way of the changing world.

So new album is out in 7 days and my 10c order is still in the warehouse - a warehouse in Seattle? - and needs to get to me in the UK...how late do we think this thing is gonna be?
I am aware that the shipping path is in no way dictated by 10C, and I find the path the USPS chooses to take hilarious...

Mine is finally out for delivery today too. Hilarious that it came within miles of my home the day before expected delivery date (Oct 2) then shot to another state, hung out there for a while then my state for literally FOUR more days before reaching me 6 days late...It's not 10C's fault but I definitely blame the service they're using. I would love to hear them explain how this model works and the rationale behind it...
More importantly, shipping was AWESOME. Take a couple extra days? Maybe. But packaging was best I've seen for an LP and I've had MANY LPs shipped in last 20 years. Easy tracking, too. Thanks, 10c.

Packaging? Really? Just so you're aware; "extra days" is the very essence of shipping. Screw that up and you've screwed up shipping. Wtf does packaging have to do with anything? Asking, "where is my package and why is it traveling all over the country?" is not naysaying and has zero to do with "life perspective."
More importantly, shipping was AWESOME. Take a couple extra days? Maybe. But packaging was best I've seen for an LP and I've had MANY LPs shipped in last 20 years. Easy tracking, too. Thanks, 10c.

A few small gripes for the length of time to receive is easily better than the lunatic rants we'd see if one of these was damaged during shipping and couldn't be replaced.

I guess they forgot to keep an eye on their own countdown. It'd be nice to have some sort of info on the delay. I know, 1st world problems and all, but don't say you will ship on time, update vaguely last week, and disappear. What gives? I've got a date with my record player and a bottle or two. I just want to know when to be ready dammit.

What I learned is that I will never use Mail Innovations to send anything anywhere.

I called UPS and they told me based on the information they had, calling the local post office wouldn't be helpful and suggested I contact the shipper. I gave 10C a call and they weren't even aware of the delays or what was going on. The woman on the line was super nice as they always are. It just seems like Mail Innovations is a fucked up service and the more 10C is made aware of it, the less headaches they'll have with people complaining about future delays.
