Right kids I'm starting the PJ in Europe 09 begging thread. I really feel its gonna happen. We've got to still believe and hope, we need it (espicially Dublin ;)).

So show your support and let us (and the lads!) know where you want them to play :D

  • wohooo dublin!!! They need to come back next summer kick the shit out of the new point and show ac/dc who the real kings are
  • I would love a tour in Europe next year. But I think they could save it for the fall. U2 is prolly playing Europe next summer and in that case I'll have to choose. And I don't want to do that.
  • i have booked glastonbury so being the selfish git that i am....
Hopefully a full arena tour should happen,wembley,m.e.n,the point, secc
a few ed solo shows wouldnt go a miss either!!!!
a point on the astoria mentioned above, looks like its getting demolished:(
  • i hope this time they do a real Spanish tour, not only Barcelona, San Sebastian, Madrid...as usual...i wait for them in Galice...The Atlantic Ocean rocks!!!!!

I think the following places deserve shows in '09:

    Glasgow
    Cardiff
    Manchester
    Stockholm
    Helsinki

And of course, the usual places should always have shows. I hope everyone is taken care of this time. Less festivals. More shows. More countries. :)

Cardiff would be too cool  I mean, it's been a long time now.
But, anywhere in Europe next year will be good, I'm saving my dosh :D
    I came, I saw, I concurred.....
  • You know, I think I'm gonna have to say it: I doubt we'll get a proper, real tour in Europe again. I'm thinking along the lines of '06 here. A couple dates per country, maybe someplace else gets the Italy treatment, but expect festival dates on the weekends and proper full shows on the weekdays. I really don't see them passing up the money they can make by doing festivals.

Now, if they prove me wrong, I'll be the first to each my words here, but I've Got A Feeling.

  • No offense to you all and I am 50% Irish (grandparents immigrated in early 1900) but I'd much rather see another USA tour. That being said I'd gladly come to Dublin for a concert.

I'm not sure if we'll get a European Tour in '09?! Nothing would be better but I think they're going to make/finish the album first & then make an american tour. But if I'm wrong I'm all in for concerts in Cologne, Brussels & Paris. Maybe even a country they never played before: Luxembourg!

I'd love for them to play the Olympia or Marlay Park or Oxegen if they're gonna play Ireland, the Point will do I guess but it'd be nice to see them somewhere different.

DUBLIN!!! the Point is re-opened and redisgned and despite it's shabby new name (the O2?) it looks great inside!!
world class PA system and the furthest seat from the stage is 65 metres away!! it really has been amazingly well done!!

Get back to the Point lads!!!

I wholeheartedly agree. :D all those cities should be go-able for me. ;)
