I had a biker up my ass a few months ago and I gave him a heavy dose of the windshield wiper fluid. I was laughing my ass off as he was trying to clean his visor. He pulled up to me at the light and said you should be more careful when you clean your window I said if you didn't ride up peoples asses you wouldn't have to worry about that.
I watched the video....bunch of wanna b's , sure the wanna b's were ass holes but....the guy driving the suv could of made a better choice sense he had his family in the car with him and just slowed down and not hit one of the wanna b's.
....biker gang ?
Godfather.
thank god they were lightweight bullshit wannabees. the hell angels or the mongols would have killed him or maybe just put him in the intensive care unit for 120 days
I have never seen the H/A's ride in such a mess or do a break check in front of an suv have you ?

you tough guy
Godfather.
It's a nice little move when you got someone up your ass I try to only use it if their car looks clean or better yet are in a convertible.
Based solely on the video here, it is readily apparent that the tough guys (in a huge group mind you) on the bikes caused the collision, caused the panic, and then beat up the guy for his reaction to their being assholes.
Now if something happened prior, that coulda been the SUV drivers fault, but it doesn;t excuse the behavior of what the bikers then did.
I don;t see how anyone could watch that and think that the guy (with his wife and 2 year old) surrounded by dozens of bikers is at fault for trying to get away from the violent assholes.
front spacer play close attention to the opening picture
Godfather.
slightly racist? isn't 'peckerwood' a slang term for a redneck type prick?
no ...what are you fishing for ?
or is everybody you don't know a a redneck type prick or a racist ?
Godfather.
look up 'peckerwood,' godfather
it is a term used to describe a southern redneck white frickin guy. i didn't just invent the slang word nor am i fishing. i've heard the word since i was a kid as dad worked at a prison.
many aryan brotherhood or aryan nation assholes use the term "peckerwood" as they call one another this
i think the key issue in all of this is how much danger was the driver in when the initial contact and incident happened ... i mean it's subjective ... are we now ok saying that a large group of bikers on the road is an absolute threat to one's safety? ... it's a slippery slope ...
It's subjective based on what we've seen, though. That's all we observers have to go on.
As to your second statement...I say as long as a large group of anyone behaves with courtesy toward those around them, then nope...no assumptions here; they're welcome to share the road (and please don't hog it).

Agree. The gang brought all of this on themselves and should be punished accordingly for assaulting the guy.
The only people we should try to get even with...
...are those who've helped us.
Right 'round the corner could be bigger than ourselves.
I ride my bike every day, i'm not Sunday rider who spends more time cleaning their bike than they do riding it like most "bikers", I don't even own a car. I can state categorically that what that rider was doing, slowing down in front of the vehicle like that was suicidally idiotic.
If that was the point at which he got knocked off then he absolutely had it coming to him, and there's not a great deal the SUV driver could have done about it, he was just going about his business when he was swarmed, and somebody basically ran their bike straight into him.
Completely agree with you.
However the fender bender we see in the video isn't what started the confrontation. You can see immediately after the SUV bumps the white bike that the bike and rider and still upright and riding. No accident, no broken leg or anything. Furthermore (though it's hardly "clear"), it seems pretty evident that the group of riders is already following the SUV and fucking with him prior to the white bike brake-checking him and getting bumped.
Yeah, I'm still not sure exactly what the sequence of events was, every story tells it differently.
Either way, regardless of who's fault the whole thing was beating him and terrifying his child are never an acceptable response, even if the whole thing was his fault.
Wife offers very vague account for the mentality of the family in the suv. In short, she says they felt very threatened and felt like they were left no choice. Story still begs a lot of questions.
I feel badly for the guy seriously injured, but geez man... sometimes when you act like a moron you get hurt doing so.

Yeah that's kinda where I'm at at this point. This group of "stunters" were acting like hooligans, one way or the other, even if they weren't directly threatening the family in the SUV before the SUV went 4wheeling over some kawasakis. You pays your money and you takes your chances. Hooliganism has its risks. Is paralysis the proper "punishment" for basic hooliganism? Doubtful, but it's hard to have a ton of sympathy for anyone in that group of troublemaking bikers.
i'm still of the opinion the family's life were never threatened ... and that this driver made a poor decision ... obviously, it's subjective to a lot of stuff ... in any case - it's mind boggling that people want to arm everyone ... what's this guy gonna do with a gun? ... then give all these bikers guns ... yeah ... real great solution ...

How? If people make you stop and surround your car, feeling in danger is a pretty natural feeling.
Punks. The one swore at reporters leaving the courthouse.
Maybe they'll reconsider fucking with someone next time now that one of them is paralyzed.
It seems pretty clear this is an accurate description of the particular group in question. The driver of the SUV might have not acted perfectly but the situation was created by those on the motorcycles. If they were simply out for a ride none of this happens.

Bunch of squids.
all i know is if we start allowing people to run over people when they feel they are in danger arbitrarily ... then you've opened up a huge can of worms ... if you get into a road rage incident with some other driver ... is it ok to plow through a bunch of cars because the other guy gets out of his car?
listen - i'm not a fan of these bikers in any way ... but i also know that if i leave them alone - they leave me alone ... i also know that if i didn't do anything wrong - they aren't gonna arbitrarily beat up my family ... what kind of precedent exists where these bikers randomly stop a family on the road and beat them? ...
These A-holes were trying to shut down the road so they could f- around on their bikes & show off. Their intentions were both juvenile & illegal. F- them, it's too bad more of them weren't injured, the selfish pricks deserve no less.
I don't get how people can be upset over a biker getting hurt doing stupid illegal stuff.... It makes no sense to me.

I kind of get what you are saying here but if i'm in the same situation i'm plowing through just as the SUV driver did. although i'm not getting off the highway. whatever happened that led to the dbag stopping his bike in front of the SUV still isn't clear, but it still doesn't give the bikers the right to surround the SUV. Surrounding the SUV in itself is a threatening posture. it's horrible that someone got seriously injured but I have a hard time blaming the driver knowing i'd do the same thing in the same situation.

This wasn't arbitrary- their was a perceived threat that was imposed upon this family. If the guy had just sat in his suv and then was dragged out and pummelled, people would be second guessing him saying, "Why didn't the guy just drive off?" As it stands the way it went... you are second guessing him: so he really couldn't win in this situation which, begging repetition, he never asked for.

Squids! Nice. Haven't seen or used that term since I used to post regularly over on esportbike.com. Good times.
The motorcycle riding contingency of this forum cannot even find fault with the guy's actions. It's a slam dunk.
We can talk hypotheticals, but what for? In this particular instance, a man exercised his judgement to try and ensure his family and he were safe.
The motorcycle morons flaunted their poor behaviour and in the process of doing so... one of them got hurt. It's too bad that everyone out that day didn't slink back into their homes when the morons were flying about with no regard for anyone, but life cannot stop because idiots wish to play idiots.

Peckerwood is a term white supremists refer to themselves as. I've seen some attractive neck tattoos with it. I'd say use the word with caution.
