Where's the oddest place you've heard a PJ song?

I was at Splish Splash (a water park on Long Island, New York) and there's got to be a PJ fan running the music. Every time I'm there, I hear at least one, if not a few PJ songs on their PA. Now let me get something straight. They don't play the usual Alive, or Even Flow, or any other commonly heard song. I hear Yellow Ledbetter, Small Town, and more importantly....I hear boots! Yesterday I heard the SLOW Cordoroy on the PA. I was freakin out on line for Max Trax!

If the PA guy is in 10c and is reading this, I comend you for sneakily squeezing in a few PJ rareties amongst the One Directions and the Taylor Swift songs that we hear overplayed everywhere we go!

As for the rest of the people on the message boards, what crazy unsuspected places have you heard PJ? And not just the usual songs, but a real gem?

    Not sure about hearing Pearl Jam anywhere odd, but I did hear Chris Cornell's Sunshower in a tiny country pub one evening - my friends couldn't understand what the big deal was :lol:

    Ed Sullivan Theater (AKA David Letterman Show).

    I was there to see Queens of the Stone Age and the house band, led by Paul Shaffer, always plays music during the commercial breaks. You can usually hear it end as the show comes back. Well, I'm sitting there and all of a sudden they break out into Hail Hail. An AMAZING, jammy instrumental version of it, complete with keyboard melody lines by Paul. They're clearly big fans over there to choose such a relatively deep cut. If you download the episode, it's right when Dave goes to commercial after Stephen King/John Mellencamp at 38:45. You can hear the familiar chord changes (you can also hear the middle part of the song when they answer who tomorrow's guests are).

    I was at the Local on Hubbard the day after Wrigley, and someone played Chloe/Crown on the Jukebox. Not strange that it was played in Chicago that weekend, but strange that Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns was on a Jukebox.

    Oh yeah?!... Red Circle... You're right. :lol: I've never watched that kind of TV series. A female friend of mine let me know back in the day, because she knows that I'm crazy for Pearl Jam. :P

    Took a trip to Thailand in late 2006, early 2007 and visited an island off the west coast called Koh Phi Phi. There were a lot of little mom and pop beach "resorts" on the island and there was an evening where one of these little beach resorts/bars was blasting nothing but PJ all night long. It was pretty awesome.
