Just stating my opinion that as far as "PEARL JAM SHOWS" go, the Aussie Crowds are the worst i have seen anwhere. In fact i met many Aussies that agreed with that fact. So stick that in your didgeridoo and smoke it.

Look how you treat your aboriginals? We in Canada are not perfect when it comes to this either, but were miles ahead of you.

And can't state how many Aussies and locals treated me like shit because they thought i was American. When i stated i was Canadian i was treated much differently. I became quite defensive of my neighbours to the South whom i don't see eye to eye with all the time, but it made me sick to see how they were treated down under as if they were all in bed with Bush. Pearl Jam are clearly anti bush, but they are not anti american. And i think if they knew how poorly you treat Americans they would not be so obliged to visit your country.

What the fuck are you on! Please don't come back.

I'm so glad I ended up giving my Adelaide 2 ticket for free to someone else who trully deserved it, instead of selling it to you. Best decision I made all tour.

None of the other travelling Canadians I had the pleasure of meeting mentioned anything about hostile locals. Ever considered maybe it's just you and your attitude that we don't like? We do not have a problem with North Americans. We just have a problem with dickheads.

You were an absolute disgrace in Perth. Don't like it here in Australia? Great. Don't come back.

Ironically i had two extra seats to that show that i gave to two Perth Locals and we partied it up mad at that show. If you call being a disgrace cheering and appreciating my favourite band then a disgarce i was indeed. Too bad you could not have been more of a disgrace.

Dude that's my wave man. Australia's best and brightest i bet. And for the record it was over for me a while ago, but you want to keep it going, then i am game. And im sure some idiot is gonna come back and say we'll Eddie surfs. Will im sure Eddie is not so ignorant to think that he owns a wave and that anyone comes in his space deserves a lashing. I seen a surfer berate a little kid maybe 10 years old for coming into his path. This guy had a harder time putting a sentence that made sense together than George Bush.

Aussies: Believe you should look out for your mates.
Brits: Believe that you should look out for those people who belong to your club.
Americans: Believe that people should look out for and take care of themselves.
Canadians: Believe that that is the government's job.

Aussies: Dislike being mistaken for Pommies (Brits) when abroad.
Canadians: Are rather indignant about being mistaken for Americans when abroad.
Americans: Encourage being mistaken for Canadians when abroad.
Brits: Can't possibly be mistaken for anyone else when abroad.

Canadians: Endure bitterly cold winters and are proud of it.
Brits: Endure oppressively wet and dreary winters and are proud of it.
Americans: Don't have to do either, and couldn't care less.
Aussies: Don't understand what inclement weather means.

    Americans: Drink weak, pissy-tasting beer.
    Canadians: Drink strong, pissy-tasting beer.
    Brits: Drink warm, beery-tasting piss.
Aussies: Drink anything with alcohol in it.

Americans: Seem to think that poverty and failure are morally suspect.
Canadians: Seem to believe that wealth and success are morally suspect.
Brits: Seem to believe that wealth, poverty, success, and failure are inherited.
Aussies: Seem to think that none of this matters after several beers.

Brits: Have produced many great comedians, celebrated by Canadians, ignored by Americans, and therefore not rich.
Aussies: Have produced comedians like Paul Hogan and Yahoo Serious.
Canadians: Have produced many great comedians such as John Candy, Martin Short, Jim Carrey, Dan Akroyd, and all the rest at SCTV.
Americans: Think that these people are American!

Americans: Spend most of their lives glued to the idiot box.
Canadians: Don't, but only because they can't get more American channels.
Brits: Pay a tax just so they can watch 4 channels.
Aussies: Export all their crappy programs, which no one there watches, to Britain, where everybody loves them.

Brits: Will jabber on incessantly about cricket, soccer and rugby.
Canadians: Will jabber on incessantly about hockey, hockey, hockey, and how they beat the Americans twice, playing baseball.
Aussies: Will jabber on incessantly about how they beat the Poms in every sport they played them in.

Aussies: Are extremely patriotic about their beer.
Americans: Are flag-waving, anthem-singing, and obsessively patriotic to the point of blindness.
Canadians: Can't agree on the words to their anthem, in either language, when they can be bothered to sing them.
Brits: Do not sing at all but prefer a large brass band to perform the anthem.

Brits: Are justifiably proud of the accomplishments of their past citizens.
Americans: Are justifiably proud of the accomplishments of their present citizens.
Canadians: Prattle on about how some of those great Americans were once Canadian.
Aussies: Waffle on about how some of their past citizens were once Outlaw Pommies, but none of that matters after several beers.

Tell us what do you really think. If you do.

Overall i liked Australia and the majority of Australians i met. Like anywhere there are idiots and i have heard you all vocalize that's what you think of me as a Canadian. This is fine, i can handle it. This all started from many of you being unable to handle my criticism of Australian crowds at the Pearl Jam concerts. Im sorry if some of you can not handle that. Then it all evolved into the mess its in now. I can accept my partial responsibility for it, but i tried to stop and end it. If people want to continue, then i like to play games as well.

Ironically i had two extra seats to that show that i gave to two Perth Locals and we partied it up mad at that show. If you call being a disgrace cheering and appreciating my favourite band then a disgarce i was indeed. Too bad you could not have been more of a disgrace.

You forgot to mention you jumping into someone else's row with your new mates to ruin part of their experience. I'm for all letting go and enjoying a show - even upgrading one's position - but dude, there were two girls next to Hinny and I, close friends of ours and fellow hardcore fans, that you could've shown more respect to. Instead you and your buddies didn't seem to give a fuck, and went on to detract from what was meant to be the best show of the tour for us. It was hard to know exactly what was going on during the show, but I heard that someone had threatened to beat Hinny up after the show, something he didn't mention here cos he's not one to cry for sympathy. Don't know if this was in your group or not, but wtf!

Anyway, from your posts here, it's obvious showing respect is low down on your agenda. I get that you're fishing for retaliation here and that's what turns you on. Sick little puppy that you are.

Unless it was a case of mistaken identity, you had upgraded yourself to a position right behind us in our row giving us little room to move.

Anyway, who gives a fuck now. Like I've said, I agree in part with your criticism of Oz crowds; I would've loved every single one of the people in those stadiums to be up and singing. Have a look at the threads I started about this before the tour began. Then at almost every show I tried to get the floor involved more. But overall I was happy with it, and if I was a visitor to this country, I wouldn't be having a go at anything like you are. That's all.

So unless someone else wants to add anything, let's call it a day.

We need to officially change our legislation

Clause 2.1 to be amended from "We will treat Americans like shit" to "We will treat Canadians like shit"

PS - Does your head really flap about like on South Park?

C'mon now Chewdog, don't get it all fired up again! Things were just getting peaceful. ;) And don't be hating all the Yanks and Canadians based on an unhappy few. He thinks there were crap Aussie crowds on this tour? Fair enough! Don't really care for or share his opinion but he's entitled to it. AND I KNOW I HAD A GREAT TOUR!!! Eddie Vedder can have a go at John Howard any time he likes and I would agree with him. I was expecting him to say some stuff about him at the Sydney shows I went to but unfortunately he didn't. If you listen to the Melbourne boot (the banana incident) carefully you can hear a few people in the crowd booing him.. which makes it even more funnier. :)

You mean they're booing Howard, right? You can also hear a girl (I think) say "bananas" just before Ed does.
