I like how old 10c members quitting think it will be to their benefit to come to us with their problems. Do they not realize them dropping out means better tickets for us?
  • otterotter Posts: 772
If you put reserved as second choice you would have won tix to show. Your own fault for only choosing ga.

Wrong. I put in both for one show and lost. There was no way for me to go to any other show either and I've been in the fan club almost as long and got shut out. I was disappointed for a few days. It was weird because I was truly depressed because there was this feeling riding just below the surface and I couldn't shake it for at least a few days. But I sucked it up and went to the dreaded ticketmaster and now I'm excited just like all the other times I got mutha fuckin PEARL JAM tickets!
    I found my place......and it's alright

Wrong. The new system means seniority is meaningless if you loss the lottery.

Let's turn a frown upside down & as a community help each other? I have 2 spare tickets to Oakland. Does anyone have 2 tickets to Dallas for the OP?

I don't have any Dallas tickets to spare, but I just wanna say that you're awesome for offering your Oakland tickets to OP!

It's worth remembering that the crazy anger that followed the F5 debacle was far uglier than any of the mildly annoyed posts during this round of ticketing.

    Not even close.

The way it used to be (if I remember right) everyone in the 10 club got tix. The seats were then assigned based on seniority. Except the first row which was random among 10 club. Now, I got no tickets. I've been in since 96 and I got nothing from 10club. I would have rather got my tickets from the fan club instead of ticketbastard.

That's very old. Been a long time since everyone who wanted tix got tix.

Well, some cities are still easier than others. I can guarantee you folks were left out of NYC in 10. I think The op neglected to put Reserved as a choice in dallas. my guess is even as a 2nd choice, he would have gotten tix there and had very good ones with his number and thus, his seniority would have mattered.

Just seems like you overreacted about the whole thing. The lottery is about luck and minor strategy in listening picks. I would agree that you should just kick yourself in the ass for not listing Res and second choice. You would have prob had awesome seats based on your seniority. There are always some people who got GA who would have swapped you, especially with your number since 1998. Better your odds next time, dude. Peace.

 you guys still dont get it,do you..

if you dont score tic..no matter the system they sell them seniotity means nothing..cos you dont have tix!!

if you score tic..no matter the system they sell them..seniority means what always meant..cos now you have tix..

seniority has to do with your seat location AFTER AND IF you score tix..

no matter the system they choose to sell tix..

even if the system is to throw tickets from Empire State building..
