    I feel like im in the minority when i really hope this is about a new record vs a small tour. I could see tour info accompanying the album details, but id be shocked if this was strictly some tour dates.

    and Wrigley has been moved to Fenway for their final show. The tickets for Wrigley are still being used but for those who can't make it to Boston, PM me I'll buy your tickets.

    I'd have to say that it's definitely something about the new album/single. I doubt they'd have a countdown for just tour dates, it just seems unlikely. They would have a countdown for something that doesn't happen almost every year...LIKE.AN.ALBUM!!! :wtf:

    This guy was right on the july 8th thing and the countdown thing. Certainly he must be right about the album and tour news.

    If this is so, do you think will get a tracklisting with the album announcement? I really hope so.

    wxrt in chicago made a brief announcement just as the email went out. New album 8-27-13, single to come out on vinyl first. never heard another thing and there's nothing on their website.
    first show in 1992, most recent Milwaukee 2014, not done yet....

    I really hope this is going to lead up to the new single release for free download/streaming on here. Because otherwise that will make this an announcement of a countdown which ends in an announcement of something that is going to happen a couple days later. And that just strikes me as INsane.

    I'm just throwing this out there, but I bet the album comes out before the projected October release date mentioned in other threads. I think they will want to have more new music out to promote the tour and I would imagine they want the album out around the time tickets go on sale.

    Oh I agree completely, I'm just saying IF it is true that is the song I'd settle for. I'd trust pj had a reason to stuff that one in. But who knows if thats true. But ideally I want all new songs except for a studio version of 'Of The Earth" that'd be awesome.
