Tape limitations? Reading the concert chronology over at Two Feet Thick for this show, there seems to be a lot of Beth content before Yellow Ledbetter. I really hope this isn't the reason it's not included (after all, they could have just cut the stuff before the song and included the song), but then again, it's not the first time we've seen revisionist history by the band when it comes to Beth content. MTV Unplugged?
Beth and Dave A never existed.

    very suspicious..

but either way.. they couldn't tell us that the show's incomplete before they start taking money for it?

    sigh.
i'm more a fan of popular bands.. like the bee-gees, pearl jam

so I guess that is a no for YL.

Still happy to have some live PJ on vinyl tho.

That's cool that they have responded but I do feel they should have stated this before putting the product on sale.

Yep. Jack did the Australia tour and then quit and Matt stepped in 3 weeks before the US tour if memory serves me correctly.

I guess if the tape cut off half way through the song, you only get half the song.

Vault #1 was the CD given away to 10C members at Alpine Valley shows, East Troy, WI, Sep 3rd and Sep 4th, 2011. Drop in the park vinyl and Boston Orpheum vinyl+cd were goodies from the box sets. Vault #2 was Vic Theatre show on Aug 2nd, 2007.

This is the vote for choice show, right? I think I remember buying a bootlegged VHS of this show back in '98-'99. If I recall correctly, EV used the microphone stand to smash through the wooden floor of the stage, crawled through the hole and that was how he made his exit. Totally epic.

You know, Joe Blow taper out in the audience can always seem to get the complete show so I don't understand why PJ's "professional" tapers can't. There sure are a lot of these "tape limitations" with all these shows they decide to release. Did they get any complete shows?

You should try downloading again to make sure that you received the file correctly. The link should be in your order history if you don't have it anymore.

Any vault release that they are gonna put out from the '90s was most likely recorded on ADAT, which was like a VHS tape in size and probably varied in speed and duration of time per tape. So either they ran out of tape or got caught with a tape change during Ledbetter. It's not like putting in a 32gb SD card today!
