I'm blown away by MYM. I think it was good for PJ that Soungarden returned. Just seems like they are hell bent on one upping each other ... in a good way. Just like the old days!

The final artwork for the single is awesome. And I like the Album Cover too.
Lightning Bolt sounds a lot better now that we have heard a song and saw the art doesn't it?

I think Ed's voice sounds great, the singing style works.
I didn't notice any straining and I think it will work well live.
There is a ton of energy without the need to scream.

I'm digging the solo in this. It seems like Mike may have tapped into his inventive spirit again. Kind of felt some of his solos on the last couple albums were a bit forced and not really anything new.
LOVE the new song! Fast, punk..and now has my super pump for the Seattle show and the new album! Don't mind the title "Lightning Bolt" but I don't care for the album artwork....now I just need money to pre-order the CD and vinyl!

Does anyone else think the verses are similar to "Go"? Not that the song sounds like Go per se, but the cadence of the verses, you can pretty much sing the lyrics to Go over the music to MYM. Wish I was able to create a mash-up.
