Definitely a step in the right direction, I didn't hate the last album, but it was a bit plodding. KInd of reminds me of a more straight forward QOTSA song.

Sounds like a foo fighters song or a B side from the ir third album. A little too basic for them IMO. Even their first two albums as garage rock as the were were, they had more variations with their songs. Not bad, but nothing great. I guess it beats radioactive though.

Generic is better than crap I guess.

I am going to pretend that KoL has not released anything since BoTT :D.

Was just going to post that they were back in studio. My kid told me, I'm late to the show.

Will pay attention. Listening to a mix of the last 4 albums right now.

this band has been dead to me since Aha Shake Heartbreak. I will always love their first two albums. Since then, they suck

Easily better than anything on the last album. Got a vibe of the early stuff mixed with Because Of The Times.

Not a fan. Like them better when they have their own sound, and this one's pretty generic.

I will say I'm glad it's not just a dumbed down version of their stuff from BotT and OBtN like the last album.

    not bad.

the last album was better than most people give them credit for, minus the singles. previous album was garbage. everything before that was phenomenal.

interested to see what they come up with...

Sounds OK. Does have a QOTSA feel though. Ready to hear more. I always liked their music just not them. Heard too many stories about their douchiness. Maybe now that Kaleb is sober he wont be such a dick. assuming he is sober I guess.

So are those girls in the crowd in the bottom left corner wives of the band or something. This is supposedly a new song but they seem overly excited for a new song and seem to be singing along as well? Or has this song been out for a while now?

    Oh, song sounds good.

Youtube poster states it Jared's wife and friends so good call. I like the song as well as the other (though I liked their last album). I am just happy they kept in line with keeping this album 5 syllables as they did with the rest.

I was there to hear that premiere. It was an okay track. I must say that they still know how to rock. I loved the entire set except for songs from Come Around Sundown.

Agree, I love the first 2 albums but BOTT is their best work- In my top 10 albums- every song is quality.

I liked some of OBTN, but just couldn't get into Come around Sundown (maybe 2 songs I didn't mind).

I am definitely more confident in the next album if Super Soaker is an indication of the style.

I like the new one. Then again, I've liked all their albums, including the last one. They're also great in concert, and look forward to seeing them again next time they're coming through town.

Totally agree. I loved " Come Around Sundown " such a groovy album. Can't wait for the new one. They are great in concert also, seen them twice so far and both shows were great.
