Anyone want a GA ticket to the Barclays show this Saturday? I think PJ GA wore me out :lol::lol:

Face value ($77.35). Can either meet in midtown during the week, or before the show (not sure what time I'll get there yet, PM me to discuss logistics if you're interested). It's a hard ticket, so unfortunately I can't do a ticket transfer.

It's gotta win. I haven't heard anything close.

And if Alain Johannes has never won an engineering Grammy, he's been robbed a few times and is definitely overdue.

My favorite album of the year, if anyone cares. I will have to see what other albums Alain Johannes has worked on.

really digging this album atm... more than LB which is odd for me cause im strictly PJ all the way... but man the music and lyrics are amazing.

discovered lullabies recently and it is wicked.

debut album is amazing, along with songs for the deaf .

Sitting here listening to ...Like Clockwork for the umpteenth time and still marveling in its awesomeness. Is it just me or is this album light years beyond their other albums??? The others are good and I delve into them from time to time yet none of them flat-out rock my world. ...Like Clockwork is another story tho: it's a classic and on a different plain. Anyone else in the camp that QOTSA tapped into something special on this album and far exceeded any of their prior records?

I feel like clockwork could be a modern-day dark side of the moon.

I don't think it's light years beyond Songs For The Deaf - that album was a fucking revelation when it came out.

.....Like Clockwork is pretty damn near perfect, and in that sense it is as good as anything they've put out, in terms of quality. But personally I would put SFTD ahead of it based on the fact it has more songs, thematically the songs flow so well together, and finally because I think Mark Lanegan brings something really special to Queens - so the more Lanegan the better in my book :)

  • Didn't Jon Theodore do a project with Zach De La Rocha from Rage a few years back?? What was it called? Does anybody remember this?
