Had a good time for the most part. Had an issue with PTSD just started freaking out and had to leave the area. Still got to hear the music but talked with my wife and we both think it's a good idea for me to not attend shows by myself or GA shows. Other than that had fun and enjoyed myself.
I forgot to check back in here after the show Friday. It was awesome. We were on the rail off to the right side, didn't have to good of a view of the drums, but it was still killer. From where I was the crowd was pretty dead. The arena wasn't too full and at one point Josh even told the people higher up in the seats to come on down, get closer and hang out all together. From what I could tell, not one single person moved. But, like Heisenberg said, they seemed to really enjoy the show and Josh mentioned that a few times, basically calling the place a "hidden gem". So it was nice to hear that. My only complaint was that they didn't play "I Appear Missing" which is my favorite song from Like Clockwork, I had really been looking forward to seeing that live. But, they played "Feel Good Hit' in it's place, which was a lot of fun, but I would have picked Missing over it if it was up to me.
Sorry we didn't meet up with you Heisenberg! We ended up hanging out and drinking a few before we went in to the venue. I'm sure we'll meet again! Are you going to Pitt for PJ?

I was fourth row off to the left....may have suffered some permanent hearing loss
Just a great show...full throttle. They played every song off the new album except for "Fairweather Friend"
I was at the Indy show as well. Walked up to the ticket booth two songs into the show and got 5th row close to center! Should have got the back row tickets because that show was LOUUUDDDDD. Almost considered leaving to protect the ears.
I only know their new stuff and was thrilled they played just about all of it. Amazing album and those songs are just killer live.
Queens Of The Stone Age's Josh Homme has branded Jay-Z a "kook" after playing at the rapper's Made In America Festival earlier this month. The band delivered a 13-song set at the Philadelphia bash on September 1 but Homme took issue with the way he and his bandmates were treated before they went on stage. Recalling his experience at Jay Z's festival, Homme told CBC Radio 2's Strombo Show: "That guy's a kook, you know. He has his security frisking the bands on the way in." Continuing, Homme explained that he ended up giving the security guard who wanted to search him an ultimatum. "I just told him 'If you open up my bag, then we're not playing, so I guess it's up to you now to decide whether I'm playing or not'," Homme said. Homme also criticised Jay Z for apparently asking the band to pose with a bottle of the rapper's own brand of Ace of Spades champagne at the event. "I was like, 'That's not a gift - that's a marketing tool.' I destroyed it, 'cause I thought it was rude overall," Homme said, before adding: "You shouldn't frisk my guys, you should fuck off." Nine Inch Nails, Phoenix, A$AP Rocky, Calvin Harris and Jay Z's wife Beyonce also performed at the rapper's Made In America Festival this year. Queens Of The Stone Age are currently on tour in the US and are set to play seven arena dates across the UK and Ireland this November, beginning at The Hydro in Glasgow on November 16.

I hate to say it, I don't think PJ can match it, Like Clockwork is that good.
.....I think I'm right.
Saw them in Cinci and Columbus. They are so amazing. I think the influx of new people in and out the group really keeps them re-inventing themselves positively.
I only wish they'd play Fairweather Friends. Easily my favorite song on the CD.

You're for sure right. ... Like Clockwork is working its way steadily up my list of greatest albums of all time in the history of music. Every time I listen to it I love it more than I did the last time.

Let's say knowledge is a tree, yeah.
It's growing up just like me.
Just scored floor tickets to the concert in Boston! Gotta wait till December though, but I'm sure these Pearl Jam shows will hold me over
Looks like The Kills are opening for them. They any good?
Just got around to listening to this album, and it's actually my first QOTSA album. Damn, that's a great record! Loved how all the songs have totally diffrent sounds and moods, and yet seem to fit together so well with each other. And that's with only one listen! Great album, I will be listening to this a lot this week!

Yep, The Kills are really good, they're a man/woman duo like The White Stripes, but quite different. They still have a slight blues influence but, a more up-beat sound, definitely Rock n' Roll. You'll enjoy them for sure...
