I remember I said the same thing about the Billboard when it was under $200 and I ended up shelling out 5. I sure as hell give up on trying to figure out the market anymore because I always seem to get burned lol.

I think I saw one last night on ebay go for around $125 and one under $110 over the weekend. $160 is still a great price but I think the $200+ days for this are over IMO

the art is not bad....kinda cool that 3 artists participated. but it didnt commemorate a big special event for alot of fans. final bow is right to be patient. will probably settle around 100-150 long term. pj20 was a huge spectacle and certainly meaningful for many fans. so you cant compare it to the billboard print.

EB already has 16 sales of this print recorded since the initial drop, and more than 3x people selling than ISO. as this print arrives at people's doorstep, the huge size hurts the resale value as well. it will be expensive to frame and difficult to store, more people will be looking to unload.

Oh yea I didn't mean it would hit that level price range. But what was it 150 run? So you figure take out 10 for the artists and a close friend or two, so 140 made available. Idk how many people on just the boards went to the convention but factor that in with collectors who need to have everything and it's not like there will be a ton floating around.

I snagged one but realized that I have way way too many posters just laying around my basement so I will be offering it up on here after the OP sells this bc I don't want to hijack the shit out of his thread lol. Although mine will come with a bit of an interesting twist.

Without any kind of personal attack...yes, it is your poster and you can ask what you like for it. This is true. But, we kind of pride ourself as a community and selling a week old poster for $60 over what was originally charged is kinda......less than ideal. If that is your intent, there is espressobeans.com, eBay, or some other anonymous auction/retail market.

Or at least wait a little bit before you flip it. Your dog can have vet bills, or your kids have doctor bills, or you're selling it for a friend ...you get the idea. Prices go up and down and nobody here is selling a Benny for $40 or posters from 1998 for $15, but you have to expect people to be rubbed a little bit the wrong way.

Well said. And its pretty much what I was trying to say. It is your shit do what you want with it. But its clear your trying to make money. And if thats the case, just sell it somewhere else. Not here on the website. You can go through other avenues. This was once a place where people would help other members like myself that refreshed for 2 hours only to get the print in their cart an then get timed out. Have fun spending your tainted earnings. It's not exactly like that. I told in my previous post that this is a good price compared to the prices on ebay just after the poster was sold out. But...this poster was for sale just 2 weeks ago. Why someone would buy this limited item and just sell it after less than 15 days for almost double price? I was trying in front of my PC refreshing just to get refunded the other day due to over sale. And the next minute ebay was full of this poster. Yes it's his item, yes he can do whatever he wants with it but I say this is not the right place to do it. It's just the way I feel.

I feel you on that. But $110 after shipping cost, so if you sell for $160 shipped and insured you are getting $150 at best so is it really worth to buy and resell for $40. Idk the answer... Just clarifying that anyone selling at this price isn't getting near double.

very true and let me clarify first that i really dont care about the next bit too much....

but many will argue that folk bought this poster on the hope and anticipation that it would be a profitable one like the Billboard. That hasnt worked out so people are offloading it for what seems a 'fair' price...because they really have no option.

This is all the product of the capitalist society we live in, whether it should apply to a friendly community like lost dogs is another argument, and a very long one no doubt. Let me add, one that folk will never agree on either.

I would simply add what many say above, good luck to the guy selling his print.
