    It is my unpopular opinion that he is just an all-around better musician. Clapton's style bores me after a while, whereas I could get lost in Mark Knopfler's tone.

    It was the peak of the dirty, filthy Stones.  It's the one that justified the reputation of sex, drugs, and rock and roll...everything that parents warned their kids about.  In short, awesome.
