    i know manny people will hang around the werchter area before the first train leaves....you can stay in a hotel or BBB in Leuven there are plenty of them....

    Yes, but if I pay for an hotel also, the cost for the whole thing will be quite high after that

    I think I'm gonna go by car.
    3.5 hours from Paris approx...

    Pretty cool (except to come back between 2 and 5 in the morning on the motorway)

    Is it not cheaper to go by Thalys train to brussels and then hire a car ???

    I don' think so. he cheapest thalys ticket paris-Brussels-paris is 49 euros. then hiring a car should be 25 or 50 euros... Paris-Werchter by ca is only 300-400 km. not that far and it won't be expensive.
