So Pearl Jam are finally announced to Headline Belgium's biggest Rock Festival! Let's all hope they will make it and no tragic incident will prevent them from showing up.

I will attend the festival for the 9th straight year and I'm more than excited to know that my favourite band will headline friday evening!!

    This will be my 8th time at Werchter. My first was when PJ was due to play in 2000.. Let's hope I can erase that horrible memory now. :)

    My first time was just the year before... but I do remember the disappointing year of 2000 that really wasn't funny! But enough old sentimental bullshit! Yes Muse and the Chemical Bros. are announced as well and I'm sure a lot of other great bands will be announced in the following weeks...

    Will be there...but first to Nijmegen...oh boy i will be a wreck the next days or so...haha!

    any idea on how much the day ticket may cost? read somewhere that last year it was about 60€ per night. Is it expected to increase this year?

    The worst enemies of music? Money and Mathematics. Combined with music, they both do the exact opposite of what they're supposed to do. Money makes music cheap, mathematics makes it stupid and predictable.

    looking forward to that, I remember wasting my money in 2002, when I bought the festivalticket just for pearl jam.
    last years the festival is just too expensve, so I only do one day anymore. but that works out fine as I first will go to Nijmegen.
    if somebody would like to do 2 nice belgian guys (20 and 21) a favour by taking them with from nijmegen to werchter, please pm me

    Edit: Also, I have wanted to attend a European Music Festival forever. Reading Led Zeppelin fanzines in the 80’s with all the 1979 Knebworth stories got me interested. Should I bring my local flag?

    I can also say Pearl Jam will close the day. No more dance-act after them or whatsoever. So they can play a full set. Looks like a nice end of the tour! :)

    Good thing that they close the day....i already asked at work today for a day of then...LOL...better be prepared...

    A friend and I are planning to goto this festival to watch PJ jam, any ideas on how to get hold of some tickets for the day at the festival?
