Yep, those little Vaudeville pieces before the Iha song and 1979. I just can't stand McGrath. I saw Sugar Ray open for 311 once and the dude was just a complete dick the whole time they were on stage.

I wonder what their connection is. I saw the announcement of all the special guests for tonight's Holmdel show and I was like, MARK MCGRATH?

Although Courtney Love should be...interesting.

Wow, WPC spoke more introducing Courtney Love than he did the entire MSG show!

I'm actually glad I went to a show without special guests. I think it would have taken away from the experience.

Chino requested my fave pumpkins song "snail" and "Bodies" is always insane. Never been fan of Sugar Ray but it was priceless smiles on Billy and James faces while playing that. I will give it up to Mark McGrath. He has put out some shitty music but he is s student of rock n roll. He nailed it when he called Billy "the Brian Wilson of our Generation".

I remember McGrath being on a celebrity edition of Rock n Roll Jeopardy back in the day on VH1...dude slaughtered his competition. Knew almost every answer on both boards.

I gained a lot of respect for him that day, but still don't care for Sugar Ray's music.

hope you guys get more than the 2 shows that are currently scheduled.

They said that success in the US would dictate if more European shows are announced.

Pollstar has some pretty good numbers for them so far.

37-year-old me loved the setlist; 20-year-old me was having an aneurysm. I love the Pumpkins, but I'm also a major Jimmy Chamberlin fanboy. I'd seen the Pumpkins with him, but I've also seen them without him - and if you've never seen him live it's worth whatever you pay just to watch him drum on "Siva." (Iha's stage banter's fantastic, too.) Also, and I can't believe I'm saying this, "Solara" was one of the highlights of the entire night; I didn't love it on the radio, but it's a monster live.

It was definitely a little shot at Ed. But probably all the other Celebs that came out for the series. He wasn't a fan of All the Way either.

That being said, his attitude may have changed. Since then he's had his kid and that seems to have softened him.
