It is not biased to believe one way or the other. I have no problem with Fox and what it believes. In fact I am very interested in what it believes, information is usefull. The problem I have is that they present "news" in a dishonest way to try and "trick" people in to believing and voting a particular way.

and please, to try and show there is someone or something worse, does not somehow lesson the problem. George W's people would often say things to the effect that Saddam was worse than him :)

As so does liberal news media such as msnbc. I'm not denying the fact that fox presents news in a paticular way. But lets take note that it's not just Fox. If anything, msnbc is much worse.

You might want to do a little more research on Saddam before making such a ridiculous statement.

you made the exact statement that I was hoping to avoid. Yes other people do it... Like MSNBC.. that doesn't change that fact that FOX is dishonest.. it is sad if they take comfort in the fact that MSNBC is just as bad.. that is like Bush taking comfort in the fact that Saddam was as bad...

liberal media? why is is that every time i turn on meet the press and other national news shows on sunday it features republicans? most notably john mccain, an old man who got his ass kicked in in 2008 and who is bordering on irrelevance now. that would be like them dusting off michael dukakis or al gore and seeing what they have to say.

I see many Republicans on CNN.

(Just to clarify, I am not saying CNN is fair, not biased, etc. I am just saying I have seen many on there before)

I don't get my news from one place. I watch many, see what they all say about one subject, and try to see what the truth may be. That is for politics at least.

For events such as a shooting, post-weather damage, or something like that I just keep CNN on.

He's a RINO, what most Republicans have become in political office.

Lets have a war and fuck the constitution... I see it on both sides, but this Republican party has really turned into something else.

Labor Secretary Nominee accused of cutting Secret Deal. Fox adds a picture of him wispering to The President though the artical does not sugges the deal was with or had anything to do with President Obama.

it is all a part of the plan. this is what fox does. it takes everything that can be perceived as slightly negative and tries to tie it directly to obama. if there is no direct tie, they will create the tie. that article and pic are misleading.

i can take an article and tie the bush auto bailout with a pic of obama and get the same results. negative association sways opinions, sells paper, and generated pageviews.

I knew Fox News would be collectively disapointed that the terrorist attack in Boston could not be blamed on someone in the middle east... or at least someone to declare war on.. but they thought of something

    Today's headline:

Is Russia's Bin Laden Exporting Terror to America???

Maybe we can go back to hating Russians to stimulate that darn economy

I thought some of you here might be able to help me out. A family member of mine was railing against Obama today and said that Obama hated military personnel and had accused them of being terrorists. I don't remember this and really couldn't find a link and thought you guys might be able to fill me in. The only news she watches is Fox but she wasn't really very clear about the specifics of why when or how he might have mentioned this. I know its very vague but its really frustrating and difficult to combat this mentality if I can't find the exact reference.
Are we getting something out of this all-encompassing trip?

Seems my preconceptions are what should have been burned...

what you need to do is think about what your family member said. does it sound plausible that the leader of your country would hate military personnel and that he would accuse them of being terrorists... and then you need to think about whether if he does, would he be stupid enough to express th0se opinions out loud so people could hear him. you also need to take notice of the fact that your family member cant provide the why, when or how of this Obama spiel. I would hazard a guess and say your family member is talking out of her arse(no disrespect intended) and cant back up what she said and that is why she is so vague with specifics. might I suggest you challenge her to back up her shit or shut the fuck up(her not you).

Exactly how my conversation with her went, however, it is easier for me to discuss this with her when I have solids to back up my position. I never watch Fox and I have no clue what was actually said in context to whatever event Fox News was relating this little nugget of nonsense to. It is difficult to argue when you do challenge someone to provide facts and all you get is Fox News paranoia! Thanks for the response though :)

yeah, that is true.. it's the battle of extremes. I wonder of those that support Fox for example, why not present your case honestly. I can't hear anything they have to say becasue they work so hard to manipulate their words to force my conclusions... in fact, I considered myself a republican... influenced alot by Alex P Keaton. I am still disapointed by the Democrats, but starting with the tremendous influence of Rush, it has gotten ugly and sinister and completely dishonest. Then with the election of W. they just went crazy. It seemed that a he bought in completely to the movie and basically brough Rush and Bill and Sean to the White House... and our country because a high school experiment gone bad. It is so disapointing.

no need to argue when she cant even provide you with concrete proof Obama even said what she said he did. I don't think its beyond the realm of sense that if shes going to talk shit that she back it up. it speaks volumes that shes unable to do so.
