Hard to pick the best one, but pretty sure of the ones I don't like as much.
So at the current time of writing, it's as follows:

    1) No Code
    2) Vitalogy
    3) VS
    4) Yield
    5) Ten
    6) Binaural
    7) Backspacer
    8) Riot Act
    9) Pearl Jam

I think Pearl Jam is their worst album. Most of the songs feel forced, horrible production, Eddie
shrieking uncomfortably. Riot Act is also poor saved by a handful of some of their very best songs.

Ok I give in! I was resisting attempting this bc I just couldn't pick favorites as I love something about them all. But when I go look at most to least played here's what I got

I love every album! That is why I suggested the list be ordered from the one you play most to the one that you play least. It's kinda naughty... to pick a favorite ...

This is very tough to do... but for some reason as I thought things through, it became easy just because of the feelings each record have evoked over time.

    Vs
    Ten
    Binaural
    Vitology
    Yield
    Avocado

A ranking of songs would be interesting as well, but I know which one's they are for me... as over played and radio friendly as they may be... my top 5:

    Black
    Corduroy
    Jeremy
    I Got Id
    In My Tree

    Cheers,

Was thinking of rating favorite three songs from each after ranking albums.

This thread and what others are ranking has me wanting to re-explore,

    Great thread StaySea :)

I have thought about it enough. Lost dogs is a studio album (sort of), and it should be included.. It takes my # 4 spot. But then again it's your choices, that make this list.

Okay Dimi ,and Brains... How do we score this one?

When I started setting up a tally chart I listed the 9 studio albums with halves like this:
    1
    1 1/2
    2
    2 1/2
    3
    3 1/2
    4
    4 1/2
    5
    5 1/5
    6
    6 1/2
    7
    7 1/2
    8
    8 1/2
    9

So if someone rated two albums a tie after, lets say, their third choice, those two would each get 4 1/2 points instead of a 4 and 5 and then move on to 6 though 9.

For the situation with the last three being a tie, I would count all three as an 8 since 8 is the average of 7, 8 and 9. If someone rated the first three 1, 2, and 3 and then the next three a tie, those three would each get a 5 because the average of 4, 5 and 6 is 5.

Or you could tell anyone that uses ties to please try again.

Now you see why I got burned out fast trying to tally these scores. I would recommend everyone try to just list the 9 studio albums in a strict 1 to 9 order with no ties. If you feel two albums tie, flip a coin?

choose the one they wrote first as trumping the second on ties. Was probably submliminal anyway. :) On Lost Dogs....they are studio songs and without a doubt some of those studio songs were better than what was iniitally released...so think it would be cool to see if Lost Dogs beats an actual studio album and if the deciders see the list they may get a chuckle. For a bit LD was my favoritie. :D
