Well he said last night that he's going back to his REAL job, and he also said that he'll see us next year so I'd guess that's a sign that there's a new Powderfinger album on the horizon0 -

I thought about blowing up Launceston airport so the Tas chick couldnt get here but that may disrupt a few fans here.
Im pretty concerned. Going to pound a treadmill for an hour and think.
You could always meet her at the airport, give her a hug, and then while giving her a hug, slip something into her pocket and lead her around until you see sniffer dogs.0 -
I'm living in toronto, but i remember this song by them that was pretty cool....My Happiness ???. I think that's the song that "broke" them in North America. Most people here probably aren't familiar with them. Don't know much about the band personally.0

yeah they already have songs and stuff, they were rehearsing and recording some demos a month back, then berns toured the U.K and the U.S and then these last 3 shows. and i guess they might do some more rehearsing now and record in the new year. but it better be epic, there is gonna be alot of pressure surrounding it, with it being so long between albums and with the success berns has had with his solo effort.condescending and sarcastic since 19800 -

Everyone should ring their venues:
Boondall has said NO CAMERAS ALLOWED AT ALL.
Just got off the phone to the chick. She said it's a breach of copyright. Some bands allow small, disposable cameras in but they have just had an update on information from Pearl Jam's manager (or promotor -- she couldn't remember) and at this stage, NO CAMERAS ALLOWED AT ALL!
She did say to ring on the day to check in case Pearl Jam have come and changed the policy but she seriously doubts that will be the case.★ 1995 - Brisbane ★ 1998 - Brisbane ★ 2003 - Brisbane ★ 2006 - Brisbane ★

From the ent cent website:
"A Promoter or its agents or the Owner or its agents may in their absolute discretion conduct searches of Patrons for any items carried by Patrons which are prohibited by law or prohibited by the Promoter's or Owner's terms of admission. Unless expressly authorised by the Owner, possession of the following items is prohibited at the Centre: weapons; controlled, dangerous or illegal substances; alcohol; bottles and cans; eskies (inside the Centre building only); audio and/or visual recording, broadcasting or transmission equipment, still, movie or television cameras."
but PJ's camera policy over rules that so what ever the PJ camera policy thread says you can take, you can take. so if you want to be certain print the camera policy from the 10c website and take it with you and show sercurity and they should let you in.condescending and sarcastic since 19800 -

Well I just told the chick at Boondall that I can print off a thing off the internet with their camera policy and she said that if Pearl Jam don't specifically say on the day that cameras are allowed, then cameras are NOT allowed. She was pretty adamant about this. So it's up to PJ to remember to tell someone to tell someone to tell the security guards that cameras are allowed.★ 1995 - Brisbane ★ 1998 - Brisbane ★ 2003 - Brisbane ★ 2006 - Brisbane ★
