anyone catch the ARIA's.... Yes I watched them they are like a car crash you can't look away even if you want to.. Most of the night spend making fun of the Veronica's (Laughing at them did u see them perform haha I have never seen anything worse I felt sorry for them really.. dont get me started on Eskimo Joe) and pretty much everyone else except for the sleepy jackson, Augie March silverchair and the amazing Midnight Oil.

Shouldnt even watch it really but a good laugh....

us Queenslanders are the dumbest, we don't get daylight savings cause back in '89 the farmers said the cows won't give milk and some old housewives said it'd fade the curtains, so the stupid people voted no for daylight savings.

Why the fuck would we want daylight savings??? It's sunny at 5am and still sunny at 7pm (up north anyway)...WE HAVE ENOUGH SUNSHINE! I don't want it to still be sunny at 7.45pm at night.

That Eddie V/Laird Hamilton thing was better than porn. Two individuals that I personally have massive respect for talking about my two biggest loves - PJ music and the ocean. Awesome shit.

My brain finally relaxed after the 20+ hrs study that took up my weekend.

I love having daylight till late,, Love seeing the sun going down at 9:30 .Its so much better being able to do stuff outside in the evening.... Twilight rocks..........
Went to Northern NSW one summer couldnt believe how it just went pitch black at 7:30pm that sucks... No twilight...:(

true, well it seems at the moment the state is split, everyone under Rocky wants it and everyone above doesn't, so they are talking they could split the state and the south have daylight savings and the north not. but yeah if you believe the channel 7 phone poll 52% want it 48% don't.

Splitting the state sounds like a solution!

I think it's just too hot up here to have it. You're driving home at 5pm which is really 4pm and it's just too friggin hot! You think "hey, I can go play golf for the arvo" and you're playing in the hottest part of the day. It gets really friggin hot up here in summer....Townsville in mid-January is unbearable.

This opinion though may be a result of my hatred for the sun. I really hate it. Can't handle driving around with the hot sun on my arms and chest. I can get shitty or grumpy in summer and Leigh will say "You're really hot aren't you?" YES!!! Drives me friggin bananas! Dead, dry heat...breathing it in as you walk outside your house...seeing the bitumen smoking in the heat...parking at the shops and your cd case has melted....kids getting really bad burns from going down a slippery slide -- OUCH! Done that! **shudders at the thought of what's soon to come**

So yeah, split the state. PLEASE!

Daylight saving rocks! have plenty of time for a surf after cricket trainin, uni etc...can stay out and fish in the boat til 9/10pm and only be in the dark for an hr or two..and saves me waking up 3 hrs in the morning before i have to haha..
