We've now been told the job could be for 3 YEARS :eek:
He's doing 4 weeks on and about a week off (flies home) so not as bad as when he was at Chrissy Island.

We've talked A LOT about this job and if it starts creating any problems with us or the kids, he'll just come back to the mine.
I think one of the hardest things is that I have to get into a totally different routine with the kids etc etc and then he'll pop back for a week and It'll change again and so on and so on......totally screws with my head :eek:

It's gonna be a real rollercaster for the next few years

I'll check their bus schedule, i'm pretty sure a Transperth bus stops at the bus stop on the corner of my street. i don't see many people get on it, it's a pretty long bus ride.

Bit overcast -- blue skies. Not sure how hot it is because I've been in air con since 8am. It's been raining for the past month or so. We've had the wettest start to a year since 2000 which was when Cyclone Tessi hit a bit north of Townsville. Rain rain rain. I love it! Never ever get sick of it! Everyone is grumbling etc...but when it stops, they all grumble that it's too hot!??!?

I think Glenn's hoping the rain keeps up - they can't work if it's raining but still get paid!

apparently transperth buses don't come this far, i'd have to walk to the nearest stop and it turns out it's 4338 Km.

Then change buses twice.
