    The kids have proven that. We bought the boys Gameboy colours one Christmas (years ago) and as I've mentioned they've saved their own money and bought the Gameboy Advance Sp's and then the Gamecube etc; plus tonnes of games.....the fact that they've bought these things themselves shows that it's what they prefer and I know it's been because of the games they can get.

    It's a rule in our house that they only get these things for birthdays or Christmas, so if they want them any other time, they have to save their own pocket money themselves and buy them.
    They want to also upgrade to Nintendo DS' so they'll probably sell the gameboys and game cube and put the money towards them.

    It shouldn't make a difference anyway. The only one you might have problems with is Mario Strikers, but only if your firmware isn't up to date
