    Evening everyone!

    Just an update on the 24th Nov.
    I dont think we have anything booked for that date, but I am going to double check with the Marketing Sales Managers on Monday, just incase there is something in already that I dont know about.
    I might need to do some convincing though. The gig they played at the HRC the first time was awesome. My boss was there and he loved it, and definitely said he would like to have them back. But we tend to stick by a Live Loud and Local Genre.... but heres hoping my power of cinvincing works and they are cool with it.
    The Lost Dogs boys are so freakin excited already! They said they are gonna play the best Gig ever for you guys! Its gonna be schweet!! :D:D

    Well, I won't announce anything 'officially' until after Monday then. I suppose I'll make a post here on the pit, and one on LifeWasted, and whoever's interested can send me a PM so that I can get a rough idea on numbers.

    Surely if you mention that Pearl Jam freaks Australia wide would be coming to see Lost Dogs at the Hard Rock Cafe, then that would carry some clout

    The ultimate test yes.... but they are totally up for it! Actually, he just read the post and said that playing to a room full of PJ Fans would be the ultimate compliment! Much better than playing to a crowd who's calling out for Nikelback and Khe San!!

    Khe San - the scourge of all cover bands, and the all-time favourite bogan song :mad:

    It should be a killer weekend, I'm buzzing already. Hopefully we'll get a few people coming along

    Rob, I was thinking that seeing as though not many of us get onto the forums since the tour, maybe we should get everyone off the list on page 1 (first post) and divide the list between us and pm them....in hope they are set for e-mail notifications? Big job I know, but I just don't think that there's that many checking the forums to see it :)

    Spoke to Glenn again today and even he's really looking forward to it!!! I nearly fell off my chair when he started talking about it. I put a heap of PJ on his ipod before he left and he said I'd be proud of his 'cause he's been listening to heaps of PJ!!!! He'll be one of us by November;)

    So i threw in Nevermind today.... thought id have a listen to it as I havent in a very long time.
    Was always a PJ fan.... liked Nirvana too, but nearly as much as PJ of course.
    I remember I had a Bestie who wrote I Love Kurt over everything and I had I Love Ed over everything!! We were about 13 at the time.... and we continued to do that all through high school :o
    anyhow.... Nevermind was such a good album for Nirvana. As I was listening to it today, I realised just how talented Nirvana were and how much influence they could have had on future generations if Kurt hadn't blown his head off. In a different way than they have influenced music, by Kurt being in the grave.

    I know we have all thought about it. Where do you think Nirvana would be right now if Kurt was still alive?

    Yeah, I was thinking that. I'm looking at flying up on the Friday morning, and flying back on the Monday arvo.
