My husband, who incidentally is an attorney, is furious and keeps babbling on about how you and I essentially had a verbal contract and it would hold up in court, but I think I'm just going to tell you to pi$$ off.

    Thanks for nothing, jerk.

I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS!!! This guy accused me of selling posters on ebay, which I have never done; he bragged about spilling beer on a woman because he believed she was going to be selling posters on ebay; then he backs out of trading with you ... so that he can sell on ebay?

What is up with the Camden Police making sure we all get a tour of the number 1 murder spot in the USA both before and after the show? Camden is always grid locked but by now the cops should have it down.

What was up with the ending of beer sales shortly after the show started?

10 Club Member since 91. Thanks to my 107XXX number I have always had good seats. Thanks 10 Club. Just wondering why I ended up in 104 front row blocked by poles and speakers, worst seats I had at any show, let alone one where club members get preferred seating. Then having the SAME security guard ask about every other song for my tickets. After about the 7th time asked him why? Answer he is doing his job. Went to the Lawn and had a much better view. Went back to catch the last Encore, should have stayed on the Lawn.

Ed + DNA WTF? The fellas they brought up on with them sure play a mean tambourine.

Camden is not Philly. It is funny how everyone who plays the Tweeter goes through the "is this Philly or Camden" bit. Spectrum is the best venue for a show. Great vibe. You can’t get a bad show there. I think if last nights crowd was indoors rather than a outdoor shed it would have been a whole different vibe.

OK there were much better points. Decent set list. Did not expect Leash again and Animal both welcomed surprises. Over all a good show.

    Back to lurk mode,

I think it is a good idea that they are cutting off beer sales. It would be nice if they wouldn't sell alcohol at all. Just your basic water, soda, hot dogs and nacho's.

I'm no stranger to being bothered by grown men and women who are drunk and they act like total a**holes. They grab you, they spill beer on you, they don't shut their mouths while your trying to hear the band play. At a non PJ show I attended at the Garden I wound up almost getting kicked out of the place because some drunk girl got me so mad. One of the main reasons for the cut off has to do with idiots who tailgate before the show like they are at some football game instead of a concert. And they are hammered by the time the opening act is on. I've seen people do this more for PJ and Springsteen than anyone else. I just don't get what the thrill is to drink while leaning up against your car or sitting like a lazy bum in a beach chair. You can do that at home.
And another reason I never got is why do people want to pay $7 for a watered down cup of tap beer.

Are people coming to concerts to see bands play or are they coming just to waste their money, get drunk and make total fools out of themselves?

Yes Eddie does have his wine but he's not the drunk who is causing the problems.

Have you seen the Camden 2 poster? I would back out of that deal too...it's horid!!! Why would you expect this guy who only purchased one poster, to trade it to you for a subpar poster and perhaps the ugliest tour poster ever? The Camden 1 poster is getting upwards of $125.00...the Camden 2 poster...$60...maybe. He'd be a total moron to trade with you.

Good Luck with the verbal contract...

How do you know he doesn't have something else planned out? Maybe he can get $125.00 for this one, pay a couple bucks and turn it into the DC poster. You don't know. I'd do that before giving it to you for this Camden 2 poster.

You would do the same thing. I still applaud him for spilling beer...he's selling one...she was looking to sell 10...not EVEN the same thing.

The story says that she stated out loud that she was going to sell the posters on ebay and was a real bitch to a couple guys behind her...different story than selling one poster.

Get your panties out of a knot dude...who cares...

By the way...the Camden 2 poster sucks ass...you know it, I know it, the broad he was trading with and her attorney husband know it...maybe I will trade my Red Borgata Poster for Camden 2...or maybe Thunder Bay...or maybe East Rutherford Night 2...would that make sense? Maybe my Gorge or 2003 NYC poster would make more sense. It is not an even trade.

Nice job by giving the guy some extra hits on his listing by putting it on this message pit...that was not smart...

I actually never said i wasn't going to trade with you...

    here is my exact response...

"i think that camden 2 poster is really bad. if you want to look somewhere else, feel free, i'm not sure i want to trade for that poster. it seems like if i hold on to this one, i may be able to get something more to my liking. i can let you know and if yours is gone, it's my loss."

this is after the following exchange...

    ---

    Are you still interested?
    Jewels

i need to think about it a bit...that poster is one ugly looking piece of card stock. I didn't imagine it would be so awful...do you like it?

Honestly, man, this is so uncool... if you're not into trading, I need to know right away. I'm moving in a couple of weeks and I really thought this was a done deal! PLEASE write back with a yay or nay so I can start exploring other avenues to help my friend if you're backing out, OK?
    Jewels

    ---

you wanted it right now...i am not ready to make the trade right now...maybe in a few days, maybe not. if you need it right now, go explore another avenue...if i decide i want to trade and you don't want to, then my loss...

Here's the rest of the exchange that 10_pearljam left out, AND the fact that it's now on eBay pretty much means he backed out of our verbal contract--his PM said he would DEFINITELY trade with me IF I bought the poster--and I did.

exactly. point being? i'm not allowed to think about it? you expect some one to trade sight unseen? please. no one said that i still couldn't trade with you...but thanks for the extra traffic to the listing. i actually have two extra ones now, b/c my sister in law purchased me one at the show as a gift...so you jumping to your conclusions is a little premature.

sorry for the delay in my responses...contrary to popular belief, i cannot be attached to my computer to wait for your PM's. again, i am so sorry for the delay.

You're a prick, you said you would DEFINITELY trade with me--YOUR WORDS, NOT MINE--sight unseen BEFORE the show and me trusting YOUR WORDS was the ONLY F'IN REASON the three of clawed our way to the poster line and bought an extra poster--to fulfill YOUR PROMISE TO TRADE WITH ME.

The next day, it took 2 PMs to get you to respond with your lame, having to think about it because it's so ugly.

You're a lying bastard and you took advantage of me and I can't believe after complaining about that eBay poster gal at Camden 1 that's the first thing you did with the poster you PROMISED to me.

    F you.

Lady, you are way off base and a little bit psycho. This guy/girl just doesn't like the poster...what's the big deal? If he/she has 3 of them, one purchased, one won in a bet and another as a gift, what's to think that he's actually not thinking about it? What's to say he/she isn't selling one, thinking about trading one and keeping one? From your thread there, you are way, way, WAY to into this...it's not like you sent him your poster and he didn't send you anything back. Your life does not depend on this, he/she DOESN'T like the poster...I'll tell you what, maybe I give you $15.00 for the poster? Would you like to do that? Probably not...why not?

Let it go...you are a wack job!!!

86th Ward, forgive me if I get upset at being lied to, most people would, and I was actually PM'd by a few other members asking me to please start a "Warning Thread" about this guy so no one else is duped into trusting him.

Can we see those? List the names.

Really, it's his right to do whatever he wants. You are way out of line.

I mean really, read through what he has written to you and what you have written to/about him...you're out of line. Entertaining, but out of line. Nothing ever exchanged hands...NOTHING. You even asked him yourself to let you know if he still wanted to trade. He gave you the answer!!! And this bit about taking too long to respond. STOP with that. It was a holiday weekend.

10-I'll trade for that poster. I'll send you a PM.
