I have to add this to the best sounding category...
Radiohead - In Rainbows Deluxe Edition.
Instead of the album being on one record and cut at 33rpm this is spread over 2 records and cut at 45rpm, ok theres a bit more flipping involved, but its worth it, absolutely phenomenal sounding and one of the best for sound in my collection for sure..A wop bop a loo bop a lop bam boom.0 -

I agree, the regular version does sound great, I have it also, but the deluxe definitely takes things up a few notches, plus it has a CD of extra tracks..A wop bop a loo bop a lop bam boom.0

If anyone else has any suggestions of good or bad pressings...?? Always interested..A wop bop a loo bop a lop bam boom.0

I'm looking for anyone in the State who knows where to get a 2016 Euro pressing of Floyd - Wish You Were Here. My understanding is that it's the only one that was done by BG, but limited to the Euro. The 2016 US press is the same as the 2011. Word is the 2016 Euro is the best ever of this album0

Not sure its the best ever, but it is good. This BG cut version and the 2011 Sax cut are both very good, just a little different.mrussel1 said:I'm looking for anyone in the State who knows where to get a 2016 Euro pressing of Floyd - Wish You Were Here. The newest Wilco album is pretty damn fine....0

Thanks. I find the sax a little muddy. How would you describe the difference?MedozK said:

Wow. I have never heard the 2011 called muddy. I think mine sounds really good. The 2011 to me is very open and the bass is very smooth.. maybe that is what you hear as muddy. Vinyl listening is so dependent on one's equipment. It kinda funny that two people can listen to the same record and hear many different things.mrussel1 said:

I would pick up the BG, especially if you don't like the Sax cut. The BG's soundstage is very good, detail is great and the bass is punchier.0 -
Muddy to me means lacking of detail. So your description of the BG is more in line with what I like. To be clear, I don't think it's bad by any stretch. It's a very good album. But I think it is a little weaker than the other PF releases from that year. I will check out the UK.MedozK said:

I am anxious to hear Animals. I'm disappointed it was delayed a few weeks.0 -
