Worst in terms of skips so far is Scary Monsters by Bowie. Got that for 5 bucks recently.

I am turning into an audio snob - I will not listen to many of my records that have any kind of crackling or popping - hundreds of records have been relegated to the basement.

Do you have a record cleaner? That can sometimes rid records of the "snap, crackle, and pop"

I find if I play my records with any pop's or clicks nice and loud (which I generally do), then the music hides any imperfections like that.. Yes, a good cleaning helps too.

I feel the same in a different way. If the record isn't an audible improvement over the cd or high res flac, I don't want it.

I got both UYI albums by GnR on Barnes and Noble with a birthday gift card recently and for some strange reason side 3 of the first one won't play which is a real bummer since November Rain kicks it off.

Payed $150 Canadian for mine and was worth it for me sounds amazing!
