The fact that I didn't get into the Tabernacle until 7:15 and still walked to the front is a testament to the age of this crowd. Lovin' it!
Hope it's like that for the Wallingford show! My buddy and I are hoping to get right up front.

Good show last night.
I'm a big Badmotorfinger/prebadmoterfinger fan so the setlist was to my liking although with only 3 badmotorfinger songs i could have traded some of the older songs for a couple more from badmoterfinger.
So disapointed they did not play JCP but Gun the second song out of the gate was killer. As much as i love Incessant Mace i thought it was an odd one to close the set with. The crowd did not seem to be into it, but Kim killed it.
I recall seeing Ben break his bass after pretty noose which was pretty rock n roll
Drawing Flies/Hunted Down/Ty Cobb should be a standard for them that is nice three some
My wife and I were in the second row of the first balcony directly in front of the stage last night. Amazing. Two years ago I never would've believed that I would get to hear Gun, Ty Cobb, Incessant Mace, Nothing to Say, Hunted Down, or Flower live ever again (I'd only seen them once at '92 Lollapalooza in Pittsburgh, with PJ), and to hear all of those songs and more mixed in with a great new album, and all of the band sounding in top form, is really such an unbelievable gift to long time SG fans. The sound from where I was sitting was great, the crowd was good, and I can't wait to do it all again tonight. Thank you, Soundgarden!
I thought "Incessant Mace" was an interesting closer but not one I really expected. I enjoyed the show thoroughly. As far as the crowd was concerned, the people I was around was completely into it, but it did seem to be fairly tame. The band was tight, and I have been reminded why (and I mean no disrespect to his playing with PJ) Matt Cameron is a more perfect fit for SG over PJ.
Overall, a fantastic show with a few surprises.

They played Incessant Mace when I saw them at Shepherd's Bush and it was incredible! I know they have opened with it too. A little odd for a closure, Slaves or JCP would be a more fitting ending in my opinion.

Man i totally agree. I feel like he is unleashed in soundgarden. Not trying to start an argument just how i feel too.
I was around some pearl jam fans on the floor and we were having fun. I wonder if they were one of you

We go in line at 6:30 and were pretty deep (at least that was what it felt like). Doors opened at ~7. Took about 10 minutes to get inside and walked right up to the front. It floored me that we were able to get as close as we did.

Well, I would say that I was the "one wearing the black PJ20 tour shirt," but I saw a lot of those floating around last night so that wouldn't help.

"Blood" was on the setlist after Eyelid's Mouth. I would assume that's Blood On The Valley Floor and not a PJ cover. Either way they didn't play it.

Holy Crap! That is a ton of "Superunknown." I will say that while I hate missing out on JCP and 4th I still like the setlist from Night 1. Getting "Nothing to Say," "Hands All Over," Gun," and Flower" in the same set was nothing short of a surprise.

Both of those shows in Atlanta look like they were awesome
They both were awesome. Loud Love, Ty Cobb, 4th of July, Outshined and Beyond the Wheel were the highlights of night 2 for me, though after 21 years of waiting I loved every second of both shows. How anybody could hear Beyond the Wheel in concert and not agree that SG is as good as it gets, when you're talking classic rock bands, is beyond me. Thanks SG!
I just think it's the bomb that a couple years ago, I thought I would NEVER get to see SG, and here I am with 2 shows under my belt. And the fact those shows were unbelievable--to stay they still got it is a vast understatement! I love these guys, so happy they got back together.

Couldn't agree more. Seeing them live again has definitely renewed my love for this band.

Anybody need any last-minute tickets for Louisville tonight? Orchestra level, row MM; face value ($74 each=$59.50+$14.50 LN/TM fees) = $148 for the pair. If interested, PM me by about 5pm Eastern today (when I will be leaving work and my computer to head out toward the show).
NOT trying to scalp, NOT jacking up the price, just wound up with an extra pair of tickets I can't use, and hoping to keep a fellow fan from getting gouged on the sidewalk before showtime.

You're going? I am as well but under protest. Really just going to see Matt
Yep. Floor seats. Want to get a close up view just so I can see Matt's playing on Jesus Christ Pose.
