You babies don't know cold till you've been in Canadian Siberia/Winnipeg during the dead of winter. Last week got down to -40 C. Warming up nicely for xmas, gonna hit 0. Right now it's -9 C.

that being said, I'm with @nicknyr15. I am so sick of these winters.

Today is -2 Celsius... According to the internet -

    29 °F in °C Formula

    The 29 Fahrenheit to Celsius formula is: [°C] = ([29] − 32) x 5 ⁄ 9. Therefore, we get:

    29 F to C = -1.667 °C

    29 °F in °C = -1.667 Celsius
    29 F in C = -1.667 degrees Celsius

That not cold.  That's damn cold!
Coldest place I've been was one night arriving at work on the graveyard shift at midnight in Cassadaga, NY (western NY state), with light winds windchill it was -60 F (-51 C).  I couldn't breath so had to jump back in the car, take a deep breath, and run to the building.  Nasty cold!

people think it's just the prairie wind that makes it so cold. sometimes that's the case, but often it can get down to -40 with no wind. that's when you start seeing arctic shit like Sundogs (rainbow "halos" that show up on either side of the sun, only in extreme cold when a layer of ice crystals forms in the air between the viewer and the sun).

Winter started out well here in the Sierra Foothills, but if the forecast hold true, we're looking at least a 20 day dry spell.  We've already fallen behind for rain.  Hoping for a wet February through April!

19F this morning. It has been cold here in NY. Not siberia/central Canada cold, but cold enough to not want to go out when the wind is blowing.
