Yep, thank goodness they'll be working all night. Leaks ALL over campus though, called at 7:45 and they still haven't shown up yet. And now I'll be waking up a million times in the middle of the night to make sure nothing else is leaking! :?

Ugh! I hope they get there soon and can take care of it quickly.

Thanks! You and me both!
Hope everyone is staying safe! If not for the leaks, I'll be up all night worrying about my mom and sister and my grandparents!

"It appears Battery Park Tunnel out of Lower Manhattan has begun to flood. This closes the only real way out of Lower Manhattan now with many bridges closed. Battery Park is now at 13.54 feet above normal breaking the old record by nearly 2 feet!!!"
My baby (22) in Brooklyn is a few blocks away from evac. zone C, but says she has power, no flooding on her street. It is getting pretty windy in upstate here. Not sure what's happening in Albany where the other one is at college, but it is a good college, they will take care of her.
Fairly heavy rain and windy in Albany. Other than the power going out, you shouldn't have anything to worry about for your child here.
Hi all. hope all are safe. In NJ about 15 minutes directly west from manhattan. Crazy windy but trees around my house still intact. No power but have a generator to run the pump in the basement so we don't flood. Hangin on till morning... Stay safe everyone in the path of this storm
Peace

So far the xavier mcdaniel news bureau as confirmed by two sources can report that the lights are still on, just two downed trees down the block.

my parents are 15 minutes outside of manhattan in jersey and they haven't had power for several hours now. they are more worried about trees coming down than flooding where they are (which i guess is lucky considering the big picture).
following it all day but just getting caught up with all the pics/videos/feeds now. is all
the radar image i saw early this afternoon literally looked like this storm was about to wipe jersey/nyc off the map.

this might be the katrina of the NYC metro area.
And it's crazy because the center of the storm missed by 100 miles+. I couldn't fucking imagine if that shit hit directly.
