What was the first PJ song you heard LIVE and how did you feel?

My 1st show was at MSG 9/11/98. I was trying to think about what song they would open with. I thought it would be something fast and pumped like RVM. To my amazement it was Release. I still remember the opening notes. All lights were turned off except for this blinding white light coming from the stage....and then that droning began. I had floor seats. You could feel the vibrations in your stomache. it was magical.
10 years and many shows later, I once again had floor seats at MSG.
They opened with Hard To Imagine. I had the same feeling I had 10 years ago. I am in awe every time I think about it0 -

Oceans in Calgary during the 2005 Canada tour. I seriously could have died happily at that moment as I'd been waiting 14 years for them to come back to Calgary after I'd missed their first stop there in 1991 thinking they'd be back more often than Stomping Tom Connors.0

Love Boat Captain in Vancouver, 2003.
Goosebumps. Excited beyond words. So so happy to be in my nosebleed level seats."Your light's reflected now, reflected from afar. We were but stones, your light made us stars."0 -
Release in Vancouver '05. Most surreal experience for me. I just froze when it started, and then I belted every word of that song out..."Where it takes meeeee!!!"Vancouver, BC - 2005

Honestly, I couldn't hear it that well, 'cause it was like 20000 people screaming at the same time, and I was jumping and crying and trying to breath, but it felt awesome.0 -

first words of Eddie's in-person:
"Okay, f-ers, our turn" referencing Iggy Pop's use of profanity during the opening act
followed by "Long Road" which at the time I had never heard before - it instantly became one of my favorites - a very emotional and reflective song for me.0 -
Once
