One of the biggest assholes in the WHOLE COUNTRY. Even bigger that Chris Brown?
Well then.
Funny how nobody ever mentioned that before last night when he handed Paul Ryan his ass. Before last night, he was a "goofy gaffe-prone fool" but never an asshole.
This morning after he didn't "gaffe" and he countered all of Paul Ryan's lies with "facts" and junk... he's "one of the biggest assholes in the country."
Well I'm glad we're not getting too hung up on platitudes.
I have heard Biden described many different ways, including many that were less than complementary. But I have never heard anyone refer to him as an asshole. Goof and buffoon, yes. Asshole...no.
Hey there are more than just me...use your google machine!!!
I've also heard him called "Filter-Free" and "unhinged" and "unpredictable."
But never an asshole.
However, and I'm directing this as the Fox "news" group who are all crying like Cinderella's ugly step sisters the morning after the Ball, it's funny to see conservatives desperately trying to call this a "draw" or blubber about how "rude" he was. When Peggy Noonan, Sean Hannity, Brit Hume, Laura Ingraham and Greta Van Sustren have to complain about how someone else was rude... that's like...just sad.
ryan was a deer in the headlights. he looked like the weaker of the candidates for sure.
i am still saying that what we got from biden was the result of all of the bullshit spouted by romney, ryan, and the ininformed sections of the electorate that believe it. could he have been more professional about it? sure. but if he had been he would have been much less effective.

Oh, I see you listen to MSNBC. Shocking.
So, I suppose that is why you made all those comments about GW huh?
The way you handle yourself is important. To think otherwise is exactly why we have the problem we have in Congress.
I'm just surprised that so many people are really happy with Biden and ok with his debate. Regardless of whether or not you think that he won on the point/issues, I would think that most people would see what a pompous asshole he is. But alas, if you wear the team jersey, you end up rooting for even the assholes on the team.
Well you do know that if you use Google and search for something it is going to give you the most recent results? Right? Because that is generally what people want. Make sense?

Yes, I am aware of that.
MY point is that calling him "one of the biggest assholes in the country" is something that until yesterday... was rare. As your Google search proved.
You also said that you've had the same attitude about him all along. Can you maybe point us to a post where you said he was one of the biggest assholes in the country that you made before last night?

I equate fucking idiot with asshole......is it really that important?

if you must know, i voted for biden in the 2008 primary because i thought he was the best candidate, so whatever man. the dems needed someone to be an "asshole" because of how romney completely disrespected the president.

We all make mistakes. I voted for Obama in that same primary.
But Obama is 1 million times the person that Joe Biden is. If it was an election between the 2 of them, it'd be an easy choice for me.
And again, don't take away from this that I thought Paul Ryan came off as an intelligent gentleman. I didn't.
I equate fucking idiot with asshole......is it really that important?
Well... maybe I'm using a different dictionary than you are.
"Idiot" is a person who is stupid.
"Asshole" is someone who is rude, obnoxious and treats people poorly.
For instance... I'm an asshole. I know that. If they don't love it, they can shove it, frankly I don't care.
But I'm not an idiot. You can call me all the names you want... it doesn't change that I'm actually pretty f-ing smart and resourceful and - the horror - a self-made successful business man, even if the title makes me wince my little hipster hippie heart out.
So maybe to you those words are synonymous and to be fair, the word "sexy" probably means two different things to us, as well.
Is it important? Well yeah... it kinda is.
Up until today, Republicans were saying that Joe Biden was known for being clueless and goofy and "gaffe prone." Today they're saying that "people have always known that Joe Biden is a very rude, temperamental old man with a short temper." Which is to say "he tore Paul Ryan to bits and smiled while he did it and that hurt our feelings."
Oh well. If I wasn't an asshole... maybe I'd give a shit. :geek:

Well, I think he is both. And not just today. I thought so in the 2008 primaries. But I can't copy and paste my conversations I had with people that were voting for him to prove it to you, so I guess we are at a standstill.
And you are right, you are not an idiot, though everyone has their moments.
Actually, in Ryan's defense... he didn't want those pictures taken.
That was for a "hottest senator" photo spread or something for a magazine a year ago. He came in second so those pictures never got released. Until yesterday.
While I agree he's in great shape, I also agree that those pictures make him look like a total douchebag. Which... I mean, I'm sure I don't really look much different at the gym although you won't ever catch me posing for a camera while doing curls.
When discussing the wars, Biden flat out stated he had voted against them, and I did a double take. "Did he really just say that?"
98 senators authorized the use of force on Sept 14, 2001 - I mean who wasnt gonna at that point. And he voted for the Iraq one as well....
Then I read today:
“By the way, they talk about this great recession like it fell out of the sky–like, ‘Oh my goodness, where did it come from?’” Biden said. “It came from this man voting to put two wars on a credit card, at the same time, put a prescription drug plan on the credit card, a trillion dollar tax cut for the very wealthy. I was there, I voted against them."
Ah! He voted against the drug plan and tax cuts! But boy that sounded like he was talking about the wars. He's good.

Then I'm sure you don't mind pointing us to a post where you call him one of the "biggest assholes in the country" from last week?
Uh... yeah, I don't think I said that, either.
Um... yeah... considering I didn't put "words in" your mouth... which one of us us lying again?
Um... most of those posts were made yesterday.
I am disappoint.
I like that it only takes scrolling as far as the fourth result to get to: Biden smiles, laughs, and mostly kicks ass!
"...I changed by not changing at all..."
Not the vote I am most proud of by far but yes I did. In 1994. Funny enough it was Mitt Romney that drove me to that.

I found that point at the front of his hair to be very disturbing. Not sure why.
how creepy was that?

This man is the opposite of sexy. He's the boy in kicked in the shins in 3rd grade
"I need your strength for me to be strong...I need your love to feel loved"
the pics were taken in dec 2011 by time magazine...time decided yesterday to release them
