I agree that the dem's aren't as user friendly as they say they are but no one wants to keep people in poverty or dependent on government. Obama hasn't done anything, said anything or made any policies that would it easier to become dependent.. the system needs fixing I agree. The idea that people are dependent on government almost sounds like people think the poor should just get out of bed and find a job.. like it's that easy. the discrimination towards the not so well is terrible.
I said all along that in the debates you have to be able to aggressively go after your opponent and that's what Romney and Biden did. Ryan lied so much that is was almost as easy as the Palin debate. Honestly Biden would be a good president I think.
If anyone wanted to agree with this a bit it all got blown to hell with that last sentence
ok
:( sorry I guess you like him but my skin would crawl if he were my President
I'm going back to this attitude we are getting from our White House team ...
are they serious?
are they smug?
are they playing a consistent blame game?
Its hard for me to like them right now but maybe our President will
knock it out of the park next week.
Cincybearcat - so you're saying if the shoe was on the other foot YOU wouldn't be saying the same thing as me??? BULLSHIT.
The right wing crap I've been reading is saying "yes Romney interrupted the moderator but with good reason".
Yep, that's what I'm saying. I didn't watch the presidential debate so I never made that comment. You need to stop projecting onto people what you think they would say and deal with what they actually said.
In a debate like that, I'm ok with some interruptions. Biden did it after every sentence Ryan said at points. It was just ridiculous. But he is a pompous ass with no class so I guess I should have expected it. Biden is the worst one of the 4. And he just made sure I wasn't voting for Obama again (though, that's been unlikely for months, but I was swinging back a little). I was going to vote for a 3rd party, but I'm leaning toward Mitt now. But really, that could change very easily. The current Mitt is the Mitt I have liked. I'm concerned about what he will really do when president. I'm worried that his first term will continue to pander to the religious right that has ruined the republican party.....
Damn, it's tough to choose when you know one side is awful when it comes to the economy and jobs but have some good things going for them as well.....I need a crystal ball to see what would happen 4 years from now.

How is it tough to choose? Which side got you guys into this mess??? I'll give you a hint it wasn't Obama. He inherited this mess and if you think it should only take 4 years (most of which had republicans refusing to work WITH anyone for the greater good in the house of representatives) to fix the mess that GW took 8 years to create you're dreaming.
If Romney did such a good job in Mass. then why is his approval rating so low there?? Ask yourself this...if the people in his OWN state hate him, how could he have been that great a governor? and how good a president is he going to be?

Another spot on! you are hot today!
The religious right needs to cool it, bring back the common sense,
it is counterproductive to say less government and then put government
into people's very personal lives.
There are ways to protect new life without taking away basic rights and
ways to grant equal rights while keeping tradition.
There are ways to take care of the poor without terrific taxation and entitlement,
ways to build business not sacrifice it, business is not the enemy.
And the Church belongs nowhere in this except to provide aid to people,
bring them together and give them solace. They should not be policy makers nor
should government control them.

How many times did Mit Romney interrupt the moderator in the presidential debate???
Funny how you republican supporters think it's ok when it's your boy but it's rude and disrespectful when its a democrat. Hypocrite much??
you're joking right ? you have zero ground to stand on with a out in right field comment like that :?
here's an e-mail from Bidden that went out before the debate...
I told Barack I have one mission tonight: tell the truth and stand up for what we believe in.
Our side is always going to win when we do that.
But, G, take a look at what we're up against this week:
-- It's one of the last four weeks we have remaining.
-- This week alone, the other side is spending nearly $37 million on Mitt Romney's behalf in eight battleground states.
-- The resources we have in the bank at midnight tomorrow will determine how big we can go for our final push.
It's urgent that everyone gets on board -- and fast. That means you, and that means now. Please don't wait any longer.
Joe
Godfather.
Ok what does what you just posted have ANYTHING to do with how the candidates came across at the debate???
nice come back but actually I was commenting on your comment, what you posted could be aimed at either party...there are no good guy's in white hat's,only politions in blue or gray suits,I never vote according to party...only the best liar and so far Romney has earned my vote...but I would vote for you before I voted for Obama.
I think Biden easily outmatched Ryan in the debate but ruined what have been a Romney-esk victory with his behavior. It wasn't required and it was distracting.
I was expecting Ryan to be much more versed then Biden and was surprised to see Biden take control. But Biden's behavior and facial antics became cartoonish as the night went on.
He won the debate but his behavior may have offset any gains.

BAHHHMMMM ! Im real fed up with the "mess he was left "bullshit, if he was everything he said he was and come thru with all the promices he made he wouldn't be getting the gaff on this election.
DUde you have to try and get by your bias just a little. CNN had polls showing Ryan winning as well, not just Fox news. You must watch that ever so moderate MSNBC. What a fucking joke are they? How come no one ever calls them on their bullshit? They are just as bad as Fox News...every bit.
CNN had admitted that they over sampled republicans for their poll of "undecided" voters.

And of course, Paul Ryan continued his answer-free babbling about taxes that makes no sense. He claims he's a "numbers guy" but didn't have any numbers. He claims that its worked many times to build the economy by lowering the taxes on the rich (lie... It's never worked and Biden called him on it) and for some reason talked about giving 2 trillion dollars more to the military than they've even asked for as a way to save money on social security.

There is only so much one can do in two years and he was busy with Obamacare and bailing out the auto and banking industries, etc. ohh and he actually had LESS than 2 years. (closer to a year and a half)
No Biden just think's his FACTS are the right ones, and the fact checkers proved him RIGHT after the debate.
If Ryan is such a numbers guy if their plan is so good, why aren't EITHER ONE (he or Romney) of them elaborating on their tax plan for example. They aren't saying how they are planning to pay for their tax cut while not touching medicare or or Social security, etc. They haven't properly explained this voucher system they are championing.
I think it's amazing how many people in your country are willing to blindly follow someone just because they HAPPEN to be republican or democrat.
Godfather: I'm not ASKING you or anyone else to vote for Obama. There are independent candidates running, there are other parties running who were not given a spot in the debates, etc. All I want is for people to vote based on the candidates platform and vote for the one that they agree with most - regardless of what their party affiliation may be (if they are affiliated with one at all).
Most of the republicans I know didn't like Mitt Romney in the primaries, most championed Ron Paul. Where are they now?? Supporting a guy they don't really like just because he's a republican.
How do you expect to affect any change when you vote for people you KNOW can't get the job done out of HABIT or some fucked up sense of loyalty to a party. Yes I feel that way about people who blindly follow the Dems too if they don't agree with the candidates platform.
I think it's funny how nobody responded to my Mass. comment. He is getting killed in that state and he is going on saying how much good he did there. Really?? The voters in your own state don't seem to think so.

As President Barack Obama and Republican nominee Mitt Romney squared off in their first debate, Democracy Now! produced a three-hour special, Expanding the Debate. We aired the Obama/Romney debate and paused after questions to include responses from two presidential contenders who were shut out of the official debate: Jill Stein of the Green Party and Rocky Anderson of the Justice Party.
The special broadcast also featured interviews with George Farah, founder and executive director of Open Debates, about how the Republican and Democratic parties secretly control the presidential debates; Vincent Harding, friend, colleague and former speechwriter of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.; and Miriam Peña, executive director of the Colorado Progressive Coalition.
If Romney did such a good job in Mass. then why is his approval rating so low there?? Ask yourself this...if the people in his OWN state hate him, how could he have been that great a governor? and how good a president is he going to be?
That doesn't help me at all. They continued to vote in Ted Kennedy for years and years and he killed a girl and left her to die. I have no respect for the voters of that state. None.

It was a good debate i like the fact that the old man was not holding back are Ryan, Cantor & McConnell all the same people i can't stand any of these dicks ....
Let's see if Obama had all the answers why didn't he push them through the first two years where the left had control of the house, senate and presidency? You know why he is an arrogant asshole who only thinks his ideas are the right ones.
i am getting a little tired of having to debunk this assertion on this forum. but the fox news keeps spreading this crap..
FOX NEWS LIES: Obama only had a majority for 133 days, not two years
Fox News is in business because their model of success depends on their viewers not knowing the facts. Host of Fox News, Chris Wallace, made the incorrect assertion during an interview Sunday that President Barack Obama had a filibuster proof majority (60 out of 100 votes) in the Senate for two years. The actual fact is Democrats only had a filibuster proof majority for 133 days, a far cry from the over 700 days that Wallace gleefully interjected.
This is not the first and will certainly not the last time Fox New has been caught saying completely untrue things on the air.
The statements took place during an interview with the mayor of Los Angeles, Antonio Villaraigosa. Wallace asked Villaraigosa, "What's stupid about Obama and the Democrats?" and the mayor declined to engage on the baiting point. The conversation then shifted to Villarigosa explaining that President Obama has found few willing GOP lawmakers to cross the aisle and then paraphrased Republican Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell's now infamous war cry that the "number one issue is to block the president."
Wallace shot back with the fallacy, "But in fairness, the first two years, he (President Obama) had a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate and a big majority in the House."
There is certainly nothing fair about telling a lie on the air to millions of people. Villarigosa did not deflect the point as untrue, and that was his failing.
The simply reality is Democrats only had a filibuster-proof majority from September 24, 2009 to February 4, 2010, as was noted by talkingpointsmemo.com
This lie that is perpetuated by Fox News as fact, shows that if a lie is told enough times then it is accepted as truth.
The video can be viewed here, via crooksandliars.com.
Chris Wallace has yet to apologize or issue a retraction.

Really.
One of the biggest assholes in the WHOLE COUNTRY. Even bigger that Chris Brown?
Well then.
Funny how nobody ever mentioned that before last night when he handed Paul Ryan his ass. Before last night, he was a "goofy gaffe-prone fool" but never an asshole.
This morning after he didn't "gaffe" and he countered all of Paul Ryan's lies with "facts" and junk... he's "one of the biggest assholes in the country."
Well I'm glad we're not getting too hung up on platitudes.

Um, yes, really. He's a pompous asshole. You know they make those in all colors, including Blue and Red.
I've been very consistent in my opinion of Biden, so nothing debate related. And you seem to be coming at me for thinking Ryan won the debate. I never said that. I don;t think either one of them one as they both made it unwatchable.
So just stop trying to put words in my mouth. Talk about lying.
I've also heard him called "Filter-Free" and "unhinged" and "unpredictable."
But never an asshole.
However, and I'm directing this as the Fox "news" group who are all crying like Cinderella's ugly step sisters the morning after the Ball, it's funny to see conservatives desperately trying to call this a "draw" or blubber about how "rude" he was. When Peggy Noonan, Sean Hannity, Brit Hume, Laura Ingraham and Greta Van Sustren have to complain about how someone else was rude... that's like...just sad.

http://www.examiner.com/article/fox-new ... -two-years
Fox News is in business because their model of success depends on their viewers not knowing the facts.

Chris Wallace has yet to apologize or issue a retraction.
"Well, you tell him that I don't talk to suckas."
Guess we won't be friends.
"...I changed by not changing at all..."
sums it all up nicely.
"...I changed by not changing at all..."
"Well, you tell him that I don't talk to suckas."
I have heard Biden described many different ways, including many that were less than complementary. But I have never heard anyone refer to him as an asshole. Goof and buffoon, yes. Asshole...no.
"...I changed by not changing at all..."
Did you vote for Teddy the Killer? If so, highly unlikely.
Hey there are more than just me...use your google machine!!!
