    But Motorcycle Diaries is beautiful. I had read the book before watching the film just to find out about Che's early life.

    yes Dave you need to watch this movie!!!

    Its the cinematography!!! the two main guys are brilliant together as well... great stuff!!!
    oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

    I would also recommend other Walter Salles films. I've seen Central Station and Behind the Sun and loved both :)

    Weird that you mention that VV.... saw it at a friends only a couple of weeks ago! Another road movie... getting itchy feet!

    It is a weird and wonderful one! Surprised it was shown on TV - which channel?

    it was back in March on bbc2 i think !! i also went and bought it , def. one to watch again and i wouldnt mind the sound track . fab music totaly brain washed scarey people !

    I read in Metro today that tickets are currently on sale for Arlo Guthrie. I remember you saying Herbie got his middle name from Arlo so thought you might like to know, if you don't already ... :o:D I know the London gig was tonight but don't know if there were any others
