Nothing too weird - I just want something nice and easy to listen to, maybe something like razorlight... I'm in the mood for that kinda stuff.

yep Snow Patrol very light and ethereal
or The Kooks... they remind me very much of Razorlight!!

although i got Raconteurs yesterday... woo-hoo... Zeppelinmungus!!! :)

    very short though!!!
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

Raconteurs are the fucking nuts mate. Saw their first ever gig, anywhere in the world, in liverpool 2 months ago with the 747's, fan fucking tastic!

HH, I recommend that! Or Maximo Park, or the new Neil Young, which I wont be hearing myself until I get home!

It's fucking raining here and my neck's sore and people are quite simply pissing me off

Oh no :( It's been raining here most of the day which is why the sunshine made me smile.

At least the week is nearly over :o
But it's Friday - oh does anyone have any good recommendations for a cd to buy??? Nothing too weird - I just want something nice and easy to listen to, maybe something like razorlight... I'm in the mood for that kinda stuff.

Not like Razorlight but a singer I like is Rufus Wainwright. People either love him or hate him (I won't be offended) you can preview stuff here

    http://www.rufuswainwright.com/downloads/audio.asp .

Have you listened to Wolfmother yet incase they support PJ in Dublin? There are four tracks on here if you fancy a preview.

    http://www.myspace.com/wolfmother

Can also preview some Jose Gonzalez on myspace

    http://www.myspace.com/josegonzalez

*waits with bated breath to be told about her bad taste :o *

also listen Snow Patrol and the like
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

Hmm.. the raconteurs - I think I only heard one of their songs. Wasn't overly impressed :o

Snow Patrol - only really like Run from them

Wolfmother - got that a couple of weeks ago and quite like the first few tracks.

Jose Gonzales didn't really do it for me - I loved heartbeats but I found the whole album to sound exactly like it.

    Yeh, I'm in a fussy mood :o

Hmm... the kooks have been mentioned once or twice, haven't they?
    The Astoria??? Orgazmic!
    Verona??? it's all surmountable
Dublin 23.08.06 "The beauty of Ireland, right there!"
    Wembley? We all believe!
Copenhagen?? your light made us stars
    Chicago 07? And love
    What a different life
Had I not found this love with you

Oh like Blues :) Never heard of them. I don't listen to the radio so I don't really know many new bands.

How about Neil Youngs new one - Living with war
Or Bruce Springsteens The Seeger sessions, which is brilliant.

I've yet to get into Neil Young... and I love the classic Bruce stuff but I'm not so sure I'd like that stuff.

are you waiting for me to recommend an Irish only singer/band

you fucking better own both Kings of Leon albums as well as Arcade Fire - Funeral... if not then buy them.... they are better than most sexual things i can think off right now.. especially coprophilia :o
