have you read the news about AOL sessions.. they are to be broadcast from Friday i belive... video of the session 6 or 7 songs i think
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.
although it said "never before heard tracks" would be performed ... cue Astorian smug alert .... but i believe we heard all those new album tracks did we not
i'm suing CBS for that false information!!!

I'm actually pretty surprised that they did not play a single song that they didn't do at the Astoria.

Do you recognize people in the crowd, night after night?
Yeah. They know that I do, too. We connect. If you see people that you recognize, when you acknowledge their presence, then I think they can be more comfortable. They're like, Okay, he knows I'm here. Now I can put my sign down. [Laughs]
We can only hope!!

I hear you're personally obsessed with the Pearl Jam socks?
I like our socks. I hear we make a fine sock. I always say, You might not love our records, but I think you'll like our socks.

Morning all. I take it the link to the Letterman show will be available on the 10 club news page for a little while right? I'll have to watch it when I get home. My p.c at work won't let me access it and there's no sound on this thing anyway. Bah! :(
You are right Byrnzie I think PJ are going to feature heavily this weekend for me. Jools Holland to watch on repeat and the playlist thingy on tomorrow night. It's all good.

You know, I saw dbk (aka Don) at the Morrissey show the other night and he said that the Astoria t-shirts were going for £100 on e-bay. Did anyone else see that?

Think there is a thread on here somewhere saying one went for £186
Think I met dbk in The George before the gig when I was still sans ticket
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?
Ed has a pretty specific relationship with the fans, but you have your own. I mean, you get up there on the corner and solo and the place goes nuts.
I watch them. I work at it the whole night. If some guy's not really giving me a reaction, I'll try and f---ing get a reaction out of him. And I feed off of that. I go crazy. In a good way.
Hmm... that sounds slightly familiar Almost famous anyone?
The Astoria??? Orgazmic!
Verona??? it's all surmountable
Dublin 23.08.06 "The beauty of Ireland, right there!"

Jeez, and they were only £15. I wish I'd bought 5 now.
thinking of selling mine
mine now has even more (in my humble opinion ) value
1)guinness stains from the bricklayers arms in tottenham when we scored against arsenal
2)sweat patches from the same day at kaiserchiefs gig
3)distinct smell of puke from last mondays morrissey gig
4)has been worn in the attendance of the mighty byrnzie

Ahh, nooo! I'm down at Victoria. Thought you were strolling along the riverside
Cool...
As much as I love Soundgarden, I'll have to say Audioslave.
Audioslave or Velvet Revolver?
