I never ordered the autographed version of cd :( Do you guys think the 10c version will be autographed or just a "normal" one...?
No idea... but I am definitely HOPING that my LP will come with the surprise of being signed! ... I wouldn't put it passed Jeff - He likes goodies to go along with his stuff I think... I guess we'll just have to wait and see! :)

Thanks. I'm in an Ament crescendo too. :) I've just listened to Three Mountains, While My Heart Beats and now I'm almost done with Three Fish's The Quiet Table. I'm still waiting for my CD though.

I totally agree with the sentiment that Jeff is on fire lately!! Listened to the album a couple of times already and really like it a lot.

Really can't wait for the live show. Hoping they play "When the Fire Comes" also!

I'll be at the Frisco show. Didn't go for the tix w/dinner, though. I'm going solo so I figured I can eat alone at Subway and feel just as awkward for 1/3 of the price

I like the album a lot, but this is the worst song on it by far IMHO.

I like Walking Through New York, I certainly wouldn't call it the worst song. It's probably the most obviously Joseph Arthur track on the album, I could see it fitting into his Redemption City record.

Out of curiosity I'd be interested to know what you didn't like about it?

I don't like how it sounds. An unpleasant rhythm for me, and the sound of the vocals and the arrangement. So pretty much everything. ;) Sometimes a song just totally doesn't do it for me. Just my own personal reaction to it (and I LOVE walking through NYC myself, so I had hoped to like it, lol... maybe that has something to do with it. I find the song completely incongruous with the actual feeling of walking through New York; it feels specifically UNlike walking through New York to me). If someone else said they love it, I'd be glad that they do, but I am not a fan. Rest of the album is a-okay.

Although it's the "Weirdest" song on the album, I actually don't mind it. I think the weakest one is Hollow Girl, it starts off good but tracks on way too long. But I love all the other songs! :)
    Tres Mts- 3/16/2011
    Eddie Vedder- 7/16/11
    Brad- 4/21/12 (RSD Performance), 4/27/12, 8/10/12
    Flight To Mars- 5/23/12
    RNDM- 11/27/12

PEARL JAM- 12/6/13 I have finally seen Pearl Jam live!

Hollow Girl is one of my favorites! I don't think Walking Through NY is weird (I like weird). I would call it awkward, and again, not right-sounding for the subject matter. But that is the great thing about music - so incredibly subjective. :)
It is a great album - only one song I don't care for? Those are pretty good stats. Now where is is? I want my album!!!
