I am usually not very good at this, I'm sure my luck will start trending back down to normal soon. This weekend's slate of games looks a bit tougher to pick to me.

i think it is time to voice your vote on when we stop letting those who miss the 1pm deadline to still pick the late games

no one has missed this lately, just wanna tie this up

though i do not think anyone here is that shady, it could be seen as an advantage to see the 1pm picks of others close to you in the standings, and then make late game selections based on others picks to try to get an edge

just gimme, in a post on this thread, what week we begin the "no picks after 1pm kickoff" rule

i say week 11

this does mean you get zero wins for the week if you miss the 1pm deadline

we brought this up so it would not be an issue

no one has missed the 1pm deadline since as you can see by looking at the posts with all our picks and none have been edited

I'd say week 12 would be the last week only because of the Thanksgiving holiday that week, I think that week had been mentioned before. I always try to get my picks in early but I can see somebody forgetting on that week. I think we should make a decision soon though so everyone knows it.

Also, did you ever tally up the votes on if 2nd place was getting a payout (like their entry fee back) or just 1st place? I can't remember if there was an answer on that question.

I'm good with week 12, too. And if it hasn't been voted on, I say second place gets 40 dolar entry fee back, but only if they are a close second. For example, if guy in first wins by 3 games or more then he keeps it all.

By the way, I am going to my first NFL game on the 22nd! I will be in Dallas, Texas for the Cowboys/Redskins game. Seeing Mr. Eddie Vedder the week before, too. Starting to get really excited now!!

Week 4 I was late because I was in Missoula. Still my own fault. At that time I voted for week 5 to be the deadline.

I'm good with week 12 as well. I do think we need to make a decision and stick with it for years to come just to tighten things up. Cheers all! I think I'll enjoy several Vermont mirco brews today.
