Colorado in a month....really should buy that motorcycle to do some mountain riding

taking the truck 1K miles to denver. woman is talking like she will drive part of the trip. my clutch is already smoking at the thought. :fp:
I'll wave  if I see ya. If you are driving all the way to Denver, you might as well drive a few more hours west and go to the hot springs pool in Glenwood - one of the most relaxing places ever, with mountains all around.

We are off to New York for 10 days. Home for 5 days then off to Chicago. I think I have been gone more than home this summer.

denver is just a landing zone. most likely stop there on the way out for a night,...then head a little west into the mountains to get away from people for a few days...then back to denver for a couple of days to explore and catch a pirates game

hot springs sound like a good call

head up to Rabbit Ears and into Steamboat Springs... Love it there.

Bunch of long weekend camping trips (New Hampshire and Maine), weekend boating trips in Massachusetts Bay, then in October a full week in Bar Harbor, Maine, much of which will be spent exploring Acadia State Park with the unlost dogs.

Oh, and a side trip to Chicago for a long weekend. I'm gonna see that band that did "Jeremy."

Leaving 2 weeks from today to go to Napa/San Francisco. 3 nights in Napa for a friend's wedding and then 2 nights in SF. I've never been to either so I am excited. Going to check out a baseball game at AT&T Park which I am really looking forward to. Also looking forward to some In 'N Out Burger.

I am a teacher, so my vacation started back in June... But we will be driving to Chicago next Thursday, attend our first PJ concert on Friday, and sightsee Saturday. On Sunday, we are taking the ferry across Lake Michigan and then spend three days at the Silver Lake Sand Dunes, which we do every summer. I am so excited! :D

I SO regret not becoming a teacher. :fp: Both my parents were, so I knew how good the summer vacations were, but for some reason I didn't appreciate this so much when I was 20! Dammit!!

took a little two day run down to the florida Keys over the last weekend. Weather didnt cooperate, but it was good to escape for a bit and sit on the dock with a few rum n cokes.

    Oh man awesome!
Currently, I only have a kayak and stand up paddle board, but my Dad lives in the Keys and he has a boat. But he's getting old and doesnt like anyone touching his shit, so i've been considering a small boston whaler or flats boat. :D

Been to the Keys a lot? Where do you like to go?
