Coghlan 1 and jhey 2 again today. Don't think that does our lineup any favors. New pen guys looked good. Didn't give up a run, already better than Richard!

I didn't call the Giants a powerhouse. I called the Sharks and Warriors powerhouses. And yeah, they didn't win rings until recently either. I guess since the Giants are doing okay, you don't have to bandwagon for an AL team this year?? Go back to your Giants thread and leave us alone. You hate the Cubs for no reason; it's really pathetic.

This is fucking embarrassing. Can't win one god damn game against the previously 5-game-losing-streak Cardinals.

Why,the fuck is arrieta on a pitch count? Hes only gone 7 innings twice in the last 5. He had given up 1 run through 5 and they pulled him today. Why are they babying his arm? Let the fuckin work horse pitch

Especially with the 7 yr bs deal he wants after next yr. Pitch his fn arm off and let some other team over pay for him!

I am, and we'll see! Love me some good baseball, really no matter who is playing. I will state the obvious though that the Cardinals seem to be in the mix quite a bit the past 5-6 years. Even in-between, you know, winning the Central and going to the World Series, winning one, etc,.

Heard today, that Bryant is the first player in MLB HISTORY to hit 3 HR & 2 doubles in the same game while going 5-5. WOW!>Impressive, but wouldn't you think that it would've been done before? Was surprised when i heard this.
