    Fucking strop. Really? A 3 run homerun? I wish we had a shut down closer. It's scary to think that rondon is next if strop doesn't completely blow the lead.

    I hope they trade Baez and not Castro. I've been saying it all year that Baez needs to go. The bad part is that teams have now seen how bad he is at the plate which lowers his value.

    Of course Rondon has to make it interesting.....giving up a 2 out, 2 strike double. Then a wild pitch. DAMMIT! What's wrong with Montero? And as I type this out, rondon blows the save. Fucker. Just think if the cubs could have acquired Kimbrel.....

    Almost the exact same scenario in the 12th inning with a lazy fly ball to shallow right and Polanco trips and falls down allowing the cubs to finally win. That was crazy.

    This bullpen is an embarrassment. Not sure why the guy we just traded Castillo for is in AAA, he can't be worse than the garbage we are currently throwing out there.

    Rizzo is the best 1st baseman in the NL. Combining his hitting, with his defense, and his base running, there's nobody better.

    4-4 with a 3.86 era. He's pitch at least 7 innings in 5 starts. He's given up 3 runs or less in all but 1 of his starts. I would say he is getting no run support. But he far from blows.

    I disagree. It's not my money being wasted. I don't care who they want to overpay if it gets them to the playoffs. Because whether you like lester or not, the cubs are close.
