Cubs record vs Dodgers: 4-3 (3-1 home, 1-2 road) Travis Wood with 2 wins. 2 losses by the bullpen.
Cubs record vs Nationals: 5-2 (4-0 home, 1-2 road) One of those losses we had the lead in both the 9th & 12th innings and the bullpen failed us.

Nationals...murphy goes 0 for series!! I really dont care..Both teams have a shutdown ace but the cubs match well vs the rest. Pony boy Harper doesn't scare me..

Trust me, if we make the WS and I get chosen for tickets... I will be flipping a few. $72 grand! Hell, I'd take $25k for a set of 4! If I can pay my car & all my debt off, finance my trip to Chicago, and still go to a WS game myself... hell yeah!

Dont get me wrong, if I won the ability to purchase tickets and got offered that for them, I'd do the same thing. That's some crazy shit.

Once season ticket holders get their tickets, and VIP tickets are given away....

Im thinking there can't be but 2-3,000 available? But what the hell do I know?

Public sale was today. A lot of people bought them to flip. Most of the cheap tickets on stubhub are obstructed view.

I had "obstructed view" for the 1989 NLCS....hehe....only obstruction was if a ball was hit to a very small portion of RF....sat with jose uribe's family for all 3 games....the will clark/mitch williams AB was the loudest thing I have ever experienced at a sporting event.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure everyone has long moved past that, realized the error of their ways, and forgiven a poor man that had nothing to do with the Cubs either losing that game or the series. But thanks for your insightful commentary 13 years later.

I've got my ticket, I've got that load. Got up, gone higher, all aboard.
Take my seat, right way back. ooh yeah. Watch this train roll down the track.
I'm gonna bring it on home, Bring it on home to you.

because the Giants play the d**gers 19 times a year (and won this year's series), here's a little insight on your oppostion:

everyone of those fuckers is an asshole. every one. except kershaw.

I'd like to believe you, I really would but if that were the case, then why does that program get aired? I get that the psychotic death threats have ceeded, but it puts the guy back in the unwanted spotlight. Sportscasters still refer to it as the "Bartman" game. It's awful for the dude. Saw him tailgating a couple years back. Eventually a drunk dude started calling him out (just yelling "it's Bartman") so he ended up leaving.

By "everyone" I meant Cubs fans, not the media. And even then, I'm sure there are a few idiots who haven't moved on. But are those people really fans?
I do think the film is an important look into scapegoating - not only in sports but in other facets of life as well - and it should be aired. Why they only choose to air it when the Cubs are in the playoffs, well, that's the media for ya.
