It's unbelievable to me that major-league hitters don't know how to lay down a sacrifice bunt. Baez should be taken out of the game for that ridiculousness.

I hated the call to begin with. His bat has been hot, dumb call to bunt. Take your 3 shots to get 1 hit with him then top of order vs giving up an out.

Absolutely not a bad call. First and second, nobody out, you bunt. Period. Get your runners in scoring position so a fly ball can score a run. So they walk bryant to load the bases. Look who's up next, rizzo. I'd take my chances with that any day over letting go baez swing a bat. Bottom line is, get the fucking bunt on the ground.
