  • Does this mean we can finally be done with FS1? Broadcasters were awful. Camera angles were horrendous. Cubs clinch and still no camera shots of Murphy's/Wrigleyville?

  • Never a doubt.

nice win tonight, for a series that didn't go the distance, one of the more exciting ones I've seen.

Hell of a series! As Ric Flair would say, to be the best you have to beat the best. The Giants have been the best postseason team this decade and they showed us all why. All but Game 2 in this series could've gone either way. (Sorry, but I gotta say it... fuck Samardzija!!) Definitely wanted the next game at Wrigley to be against the Nats or Dodgers - did NOT want to see a game 5 in this series!
  • Anybody know when the Cubs are notifying the "winners" of the drawing for the chance to purchase NLCS tickets?

Wow. What a past 2 nights. NLCS BOUND!!

    Greatest game...as a Cubs fan..
    I have EVER listened to.

    I'm still in shock.
Hard to disagree. 4 run 9th inning comeback in a clinching game, truly unbelievable.

    No sleep till the offseason!!
  • Kind of reminds me of the way the Cards used to play - electric come from behind win. Congrats guys. If you draw the Dodgers I think you've punched your ticket to the WS. If you guys draw Toronto though....don't know if you can do it.

Has to be today or tomorrow right?
  • At the very least. They sure don't give the working folk much time to plan accordingly though.

did any of you happen to catch that documentary on the Cubs that came on FS1.
I saw the last bit of it this morning while looking for highlights of last night.
They had footage of Ed playing "All the Way" from Wrigley this year. they interviewed some awesome Chicago personalities including Steve Stone. it was surprisingly good. I think it was called "Confessions of a Cubs Fan"
