Did anyone notice what color Walter Jr. was wearing, during the phone call????
..............orange. BYE BYE KID! :-o :wtf:
Yes, it could be bye bye for Flynn...
This weeks episode is titled "Felina"...re-arranged spells FINALE...broken down to chemist terms: Fe-Li-Na = Iron-Lithium-Sodium = Blood-Meth-Tears.
What if the ricin is for Jesse?
Can. Not. Wait. Yet sad this show will end for good on Sunday. And don't get me started on the ridiculous Saul spinoff...it can't possibly hold a candle...i'm glad the Sopranos never had a Paulie Walnuts spinoff, or the Wire never had an Omar spinoff and I sure as heck wish Saul wasn't getting one. Even being open to the idea, it makes no sense... Anyway, can't wait for Sunday.
Walt goes after Jack, lights up most of his crew.
Walt frees Jesse.
Jesse kills Todd.
Walt gives Jesse money.
Walt realizes his family's gone, and he has nothing left aside from a slow cancer death and prosecution.
Walt takes ricin.
Fin.
i'm more a fan of popular bands.. like the bee-gees, pearl jam
"Right now, what I need, is for you to climb down out of my ass. Can you do that? Will you do that for me honey? Will you please, just once...get off my ass? I'd appreciate it."
Cranston's delivery on that scene is amazing. I'm so glad AMC is airing this from the beginning because there is alot I forgot.

Interesting. Call me a TV snob, but I'm pretty skeptical since most network TV dramas are pretty lame and don't have the creative freedom to do things that shows on cable do.

+1 all they care about is making money. I truly believe "Prison Break" could have been one of the best shows ever but they kept giving it 22 episode seasons so the writers had no choice but to drag it waaaaaaaay out and it just got ridiculous.

I've given up on network TV. It will be interesting to see if Vince can translate his vision to what network expectations are. I'd hate to think of what Breaking Bad would have amounted to had it been on NBC.

I got sucked in last night! Ended up staying up late watching a few episodes again. Crazy to really see the transformation.
The list Walt made about to kill or not to kill Crazy 8 "Murder is Wrong!" and how sad he was when he went to get the key to set him free and realized he'd taken a piece of the broken plate and that Walt had no choice but to kill him.
And then the episode where Walt tells Skyler that he doesnt think treatment is the way to go - he doesnt want to leave her with all that debt, and Flynn saying "Why don't you just die already!" Holy crap! Isn't that what he said to him in the last episode over the phone?
There is really only one other show that I could sit down and watch episodes over and over and over again... that was Seinfeld.
So, how is everyone planning on handling their Monday depression? Gonna be so sad to see this end.

Yeah, besides a few comedies, I don't watch anything on the networks. Oh god, imagine how different this show would have been if a network had picked it up.
Who knows what Vince will do with a network TV show...it's really hard to see him doing a weekly police procedural on CBS.

Disagree with The Wire being better than Breaking Bad:
1. Breaking Bad hasn't had a bad, slow or odd season. Season 2 arguably is a pretty bad season (esp 1st half) for The Wire. The final season of The Wire had some ups and downs also (Freemon being told by McNulty about the wiretapping, nonsensical flashbacks to the pilot). Years later I would read that Simon really intended the final season to be 13 episodes and HBO only gave him 10.
2. Comparing these 2 shows is a tad unfair (IMO) - The Wire seasonally contained a new story that shadowed some real world views & life. Breaking Bad is 1 single tale, and it's speeding off the rails to the finish.
3. Hard to compare the liberties a pay cable TV channel can bring vs. a commercial regular cable TV channel can. Arguably, (and again this is all my opinion )ONLY - Breaking Bad is the single greatest TV drama / story ever told on "regular TV".
Please note I write this as a HUGE fan of The Wire, JK_Livin. Season 4 of that show might be my favorite most important TV ever created (IMO). The "emotional" journey I went on with Tony in The Sopranos slightly pushed that show ahead of The Wire for me as 1 and 2...
But that all changed with Breaking Bad...regardless of what happens tonight :? - I believe I have been part of (witnessing only ) the greatest TV show of all time. This final season especially, with its cliffhangers and weird turns and character development has been nothing short of an exhilarating TV experience. I am very sad this chunk of TV will be gone out of my life in 11 hrs, however I am SOOOO grateful to have loved it so...
And PJ Soul, if you haven't seen The Wire, do yourself a favor - awesome awesome show.
Enjoy tonight all - I cannot wait to hop on here in 12 hrs and see what everyone thinks, etc...
