So I got my "please don't play In My Tree on night 1" wish...just need them to come through for me tonight now!

Come on boys...you know you love playing that song!

Anyone up for a "Let Stone sing" chant as well?

Wow I'm surprised at some of the criticism here.

If people have been following the band that long to get bored of seeing given to fly surely they know that first gig of tour is normally a bit of a hits warm up?

Also first gig of tour is always 26 songs. This was not a short set. If its 26 today then it will b short.

For me I was very impressed considering first gig band was very tight and buzzing. Ed's voice was very very good. Best dte I've heard. Pilate and half full were great throw ins. Cannot remember a much better European set to start a tour. Definitely better than Dublin 10.

Only downside was crowd was not really strong. But then again my last pj show was Hyde park so bit of an unfair comparison.

Looking forward to tonight. Maybe complete ten over the 2 nights. Pretty please!
Now it all comes down to numbers, now I'm glad that I have quit
Folks these days just don't do nothing simple for the love of it

Thank you for the reviews! :) Hope they play the same setlist in Amsterdam (+ Daughter, Inside Job and Rearviewmirror). Never seen them live before and I'll attend both gigs in Ams. :D Have been waiting for that moment for 20 years. My biggest wish is they play Black in Ams, one of my favs ever! Can't wait, can't sleep, it's all I can think of these days, so excited! Have fun tonight, guys!

as i said so many times..manchester and arras was like there arent european crowds..

    From a time-wise POV, it wasn't a short setlist.

BTW, does anyone have the setlist from Manchester from 1992? The tour history is just blank. Although I can take a wild guess at what was played!

People are talking absolute shit about the crowd.

Everyone was loving it, singing along and having a great time.

Don't listen to the garbage talked - the crowd were no different to any other UK show I have been to.

People just want to be different and stand out and so talk this shit.

You're right pal. The floor was bouncing for everything. Looked abit mental for Porch and the whole arena went mad for Jeremy. No complaints from me, it was incredible and tonight will be even better!

Keep on reading about short setlist.....

The played for nearly 2 and a half hours! I know it wasnt a "landmark show like some of the US ones (Spectrum, State College) but goddamn it was satisfying.

    Release as opener! Nuff said.

Porch was mindblowing, 4th time I've seen it. Best yet. The jam seemed to go on forever, was really cool. Mike was as ever amazing. The whole band was.

OK here goes..... only my 4th time seeing PJ, this is my version of events.

I was lower tier at the back absolutely gutted with the seats but that is problems from the past :(

The crowd was very excitable (as it should be) and the band was sharp and tight and settled in very quickly and there was mutual appreciation from band to crowd and crowd to band, the GA floor area was jumping all night long and it looked great from where I was stood (in my seat). Most of the people in the seated area were on their feet all night and towards the end of the show I looked up at the nose bleed seats and they were having a great time.

The set list was great you all know what was played so I'm not going to go through it, opening with Release was perfection and very much appreciated, then followed banger after banger! The lads threw in some big punches and saved the knock out for the encores, especially Rocking In The Free World. However Porch waaaaaay too long and Evenflow too long but Mike's guitar work was outstanding, could have got 4 more songs in there and with 1 encore break could have got another song out there. But quality Vs quantity????

ROLL ON EV LONDON 1! Got Tenclub tickets for once! :D

Now, what chance they open with Ghost and Hold On tonight? I can hope right?

Edit: Ps, saw the Greece flag :)
