Watching Step Into Liquid for at least the tenth time, and it always cracks me up when they show the guys surfing in Wisconsin. It's such a cool movie, check it out if you have never seen it. The scenes at Cortez Bank at the end are just amazing, such a cool wave that breaks in the middle of the ocean in Baja.

Hey perfectlefts, thanks a billion for this post. I had not heard of this movie, not sure how, but its true. That Mr Brown just makes the most fantastic movies, and once again has captured the spirit of everything surfing should be. If you look at the surfboard in my post above there is a photo of my dad taken in 1968 standing in front of the original endless summer movie poster. I remember watching that movie when I when I was really little...pretty sure it was then and there I knew surfing was always going to be a big part of my life. (and how good did wingnut look in into liquid!, has he discovered the fountain of youth or what???)

The wisconsin section was really beautiful!. I chatted for about an hour with a cool guy from there a few years ago...he was backpacking up and down the east coast. He described the river surfing but seeing it was awesome.

My favourite part of the movie, however, just had to be the Texas ship surfers...cowboy surfing...it cant possibly get any cooler than that!

This is also why I believe surfers don't get the credit they deserve in the sports world

I always say slater is. A top 5 athlete in all sports..people laugh at me

Not only do sharks factor in but a lot of the bigger waves break on coral reef..don't wanna fall..lol

I can't get into this event when the conditions are so shitty. I know these are the best surfers in the world, but when it's under 6' it makes it hard to watch.
