Not disappointed at all! CC, The Hives & RUN DMC are all awesome additions. The possibility of a TOTD performance happening would be a first for me and so freaking welcome. Overall the lineup is very solid. Jay-Z, D'Angelo, Miike Snow and Passion Pit alone make Saturday a pretty kick ass day of music as well.

i get they did there thing at pj20 but its not like its been so many times besides that recently that it should be something people are tired of

plus i personally couldnt make it to pj20 cause of money at the time so i welcome it
i don't understand it either --- i guess there are just some super hardcore EV fans on here. real territorial haha

I have seen Hunger Strike now 3 shows in a row (twice with Chris Cornell). If I can get it to 4... that sounds like an unbeatable record :D

I am in the same boat as you man. Never thought that would ever happen. I thought the version with band of horses was good then to have it blown out of the water with Cornell. Awesome lineup and def worth the waiting.

On a side note.. Seeing Band of Horses open up for MMJ I a few weeks... Highly unlikely to see any cameos this time ha.

This is a pretty good lineup. PJ is closing out the festival! Rock on! Wish I could go. Turns out I probably won't even make it to Midtown.

The front page of this site freaked me out for a second because it says the schedule was announced (I am nervous about overlapping bands). But it should say that the lineup was announced.

Will I be the only PJ there on Saturday. I do understand that times are tough and it would be good to unload the ticket for some cash but I still want to see Jay-Z live. I've heard he's really good live though haven't been to many rap concerts as I've always felt it only works recorded with all the samples and sound effects.

I'll be there Saturday for Jay Z also. I'm still holding out hope for the Roots joining the show. If they do, they'll likely be his backing band. Saw him play Yankee Stadium with Eminem a couple years ago, and they both put on a great show.

    might be more artists?

    http://blogs.philadelphiaweekly.com/mus ... -festival/

"So too has Chris Cornell (what?), RUN DMC, Jill Scott and Gary Clark Jr., which I first read, for some reason as “Ray Parker Jr.” and got very excited. But, no. No Ray Parker Jr. Maybe he will be announced in the next wave of artists to be added, which will be done sometime in the next week or so."

I'm hoping for the Roots as well. They did an unplugged thing with Jay-Z before which I thought was cool at the time. They really are fantastic musicians.

I'm also surprised there was no Beyonce or Rhianna, they are so hot, not a fan of their music at all, but just would have been nice to look at :D

Not to be paranoid, but can someone help ease my mind before I pull the trigger on Stubhub single day tix for Sunday?

    1) How are they available? They said they were not selling single day passes, and just now announced they will but not until the end of the week. Can I be confident they are legit?

    2) Also giving me pause is the price... why so cheap?

I know Stubhub has a pretty good reputation for guarunteeing tickets, but I am being a little cautious on this for some reason.

    Please convince me!
I was nervous too, but as GivenToJam pointed out, they sent 2 separate tickets, so the StubHub tix are legit. Just printed mine out! :)

Im an idiot and payed 11$ to ship a hard ticket to my house.... wht the f did i do that?! :fp:

I think you're better off with the hard-ticket IMO. I don't trust the at-home printed tickets. I just think the printed link could be sent to too manny people. I've read horror stories when people got to the show, ther ticket was NO good, and that's because someone's printed ticket(the same ticket) was already scanned in.

We all know Chris Cornell will join Pearl Jam onstage. I Wonder what the odds of Jay-Z joining them on stage are now? I would still be interested in seeing him join in on a song or two. :)

Still trying to talk someone into the Platinum VIP. I know it's crazy but....

That's just really a pipe dream.

Have we ever found out the amount of tickets they are selling for the GA? Just can't justify going in GA if it's like the crowds the size of concerts past at that spot like Live 8 etc.

Also wish Gary Clark was playing Sunday would make my decision easier.
